Non-Conventional Supports

The trick is you need to take relic shield so your Q problem is solved. Probably it is not how people play [[Veigar]] support but it does work on him. Just ask your jungler to let you kill the Krog so you'll be lvl2 when you TP top and let the fun begin. I do play [[Zyra]] occasionally but I still find her mechanics more difficult than [[Lee Sin]]'s. Btw, has anyone mentioned [[Pantheon]] yet? You can even take smite and make your jungler's life easier.[/quote]

And, yes, she was considered a mid-laner mage for a long time just as [[annie]] and [[morgana]] were. However, when the [[frost queen's claim]] got released for supports, those mages became really popular as supports. In [[zyra]]'s case, the added damage from the passive works to power up her spitters. In [[morgana]]'s case, the passive triggered on each tick of her defile. So, at that point, they were able to do nasty damage and get plenty of gold while still acting as supports and became popular there.[/quote]
