Hey HappyChappyX,

Your good friend HighTide29 here. It has been quite a while since I have last commented on your guide, but might I say that it has come a long way. You are probably dealing with school, work, etc. etc and are unable to reach your guide for some time. In the meantime, I would like to hope that you do come back to this guide if those things are not an issue. Taric is one of my favorite supports and the change to an almost all AD meta is a great plus for him. I have recently picked up Shen as a support and have the same, if not more, success as Taric. Hope all is well and you get back to this guide ASAP as I consider it to be on of the most top notch Taric guides out there. See you on the field!

This is a really good guide! I just got Taric, and this guide helped so much. I was really good and didn't die once so woo! :D Upvoted!

I read that he got really nerfed in the past and is a poor choice for a support, what are your thoughts on this?

It also looks like he's one of the most unpopular champs, why is that?

While looking at the match-ups section, I noticed some small mistakes; in lulu's section, there is just a random "I", and in fiddle's section, you spelled opposed wrong (apposed instead of opposed)

What are your thoughts on taking adaptive armor mastery over say, oppression? (if the enemy team deals a large amount of magic damage or if your team doesn't have much in the way of cc)

there's a problem on your "other runes" section, you labeled a greater cooldown glyph as a glyph of scaling mr

Thanks a lot ahah, means a lot to hear ^^

As an Aura Carrier, Abyssal Mask doesn't seem like a bad choice, however the problem is that Abyssal Mask is best built on AP Assassains since they can get into the squishy backline, reduce their MR and therefore kill them quickly. The most effectiveness Taric could get out of Abyssal Sceptre is to reduce the MR slightly of the enemy frontline, and if they already have a lot of MR, then it doesn't really matter too much compared to an ADC with very low MR.

Sunfire Aegis in itself is a very good item, giving plenty of Health, Armour and even Damage, all of which could synergise with Taric, but it's an item that is paired best with Champions that can stick on top of the enemy through the means of both Soft and Hard CC, Zac and Maokai are good examples of these champions. All that Taric has is a stun, although it has a low cd, it isn't enough to stick to his enemies as they can easily get out of range of another stun through escapes like Flash or even just a speed boost.

Overall I'd stick to leaving the two out since you can't get the maximum efficiency out of either of the items without either great team coordination ( Abyssal Mask) or a lot of soft and hard cc ( Sunfire Aegis) :)

Fair enough, I know I've taken Abyssal Mask as support if my team has a lot of magic damage but I can see why it and Sunfire Aegis aren't optimal on Taric.

I'm definitely taking notes from your guide to possibly spice up my Karma guide in the personality department.

Wow, your guide definitely gets my vote for how hilarious some of your paragraphs are (the Pros & Cons Intro especially). Easy enough to recommend to put a smile on someone's face.

I do like that you emphasize the importance of team morale later in the guide since so many players fail to understand that. I'm surprised though that you don't mention Abyssal Scepter and/or Sunfire Cape. Just not your play style or are they just suboptimal in your opinion?

Hey Chappy,
Here again just for some clean up. The rewording of the section looks good. I also like the changes to the "Taric, Spells, and You!" Brightened the mood and provides a nice tone to the entire section as well as the guide. Kind of says, "I'm here to enlighten you with the light of Taric." Anyway, it's that section that has a little error. The image that you were trying to provide sadly didn't get put in correctly. Imgur is saying that it does not exist or it is no longer available. I'm assuming it's a nice picture of Gemcraft. Nice changes though, just a little fix. Always a pleasure!

Thanks again, Imgur decided to troll me I guess and completely change the URL? I have no idea how that even works ahha
