I've always played Ahri as an assassin over anything else and my favorite version of her was when she had the damage amp on Charm, so it'll be cool to see it back. Even if they choose to go with a version without the damage amp, she's trading movespeed for damage which I'll take any day.
I think she'll end up being over-tuned tbh, but I won't be complaining :^)
Also, looks like it's being delayed til 8.7 or later.
Did you really? Or are you just pretending you did to have an excuse to comment to farm raffle points?
Other than that, playing safe and calculative is the best way to secure wins with Ahri. It may sound extremely obvious, but the less you die the easier it is to carry. This is especially important with Ahri due to her nature of being able to make plays very easily and the high impact she has during Mid game. She is incredibly squishy though, which is why there is a huge importance to playing careful, especially when Spirit Rush is down.
Something I do all the time is when I don't have Ult, I'll ping the cooldown and tell my team not to fight without my Ult, because of how crucial it is for Ahri to be able to do anything really. Basically, my biggest tip is to never fight without your Ult, unless you really, really have to. Either wait, or try to stall out a fight until it's back up. Ahri goes from like a 10/10 to 2/10 in terms of effectiveness when she doesn't have her Ult :D
So far I have an 80% win ratio with Ahri! Whether it is mid lane, or support! (I didn't want to miss an opportunity to play ahri to learn her..and support Ahri is astounding!) The beginning is rough, but using this build and starting off with charm is phenomenal! Especially late game.
Thanks again!
