Hopped in a call with some of the other peeps on the team. Wukong solo killed Riven before laning even started. Syndra did well in Mid. They both roamed or Teleported in when it was appropriate to help the rest to the team.

So minor hiccups here and there, one of mine was trying to ward their jungle without enough vision of the enemy team. I ran into Ziggs and Graves without a good way out. Ouch.

Our team was a little less dysfunctional than their team. E.g. our Xin Zhao going to get Blue when the rest of the team is on their way to Baron. Their team, porting right into where I am standing so I can ult them and CC the hell out of their whole team.

Every lane had some CC and damage to help with ganks. I picked up a doable kill cleaning up after Caitlyn went down in an early skirmish. That meant I went back to base with around 1600 gold between that and the camps I had cleard, which set me up nicely. After that I mostly hovered between Mid and Bot lane. Every time I saw Zed use his shadow aggressively I waltzed over and ulted him, then I helped clean him off of Swain. Swain never took blue though I offered it to him. That helped me in terms of CDR and mana regen so I almost never got low on mana. All in all I though I played this one pretty well.

That gold swing. This is one of those game were your laners' early decisions can be super costly for you jungler. I spotted Kindred going for a mark in Top side river and I warned Top and Mid that Kindred might gank them from there, Kindred even shows Top side, but they were savvy enough to back off. Mid...not so much. They got hella chunked and had to back. That meant I couldn't contest the mark on the raptor camp. So Kindred up two marks with not contest.

In comes the curse of Silver 3 for me. Had a feeling I should dodge this one becasuse of Yasuo Mid. Who of course didn't buy a Hexdrinker. And the Kayle support... Really felt like some of the fights came down to not having the utility of standard support. They won some fights basically due to Redemption healting them up enough to let them keep at it. Last big fight around Baron, we didn't manage to keep Akali off of Ashe so their team was able to clean up.

Apparently Akali is a thing again. Except my Akali's didn't pay attention to the part in the video where they just farm up to their Hextech Gunblade and don't die. Nasus was sort of winning his lane. Thresh was all ham all the time, mostly dead most of the time. He apparently made it his mission to chase Zed around, which would have been cool it he was alive for team fights to do it.

Dunno, didn't feel like I had a lot of ways to impact the early game. Just kept floating back and forth and not getting much done because I had to hold Mid so often.

The curse is real. Ezreal died once, then ran straight up Mid once to die again and then disconnected. Maokai also had a disconnect that cost him a death. Annie was godawful in lane, dying multiple times early. But the other team was rather bad, we could have won this one with even a half ***ed ADC. Down one kept us to spread out to really take advantage when the other team screwed up.

And wow, Nocturne must be doing well. I only earned an A+ for that.

Apparently the Olaf was D3 smurf. Not exactly against the rules, but frustrating. I warned my team that his early game is strong. Now I just need to figure out how to get my early game to par...

Poppy kept pushing out too far and getting tag teamed by Shen and Olaf. Brand got and early kill on Ahri and Bot lane had their lane pushed to turret, so I spent the taking Olaf's camps. Apparently he didn't need them.

Heimerdinger was a pain in my arse. Hecarim tried to gank him a couple of times and we both ended up dying. Late he tried to solo Heimer and died to him again. 4th time was apparently the charm. I had ult that time and we got him that time. Kassadin picked up and early double kill and then proceeded to stomp on their team. I eventually finished some items and then god to be a useful meatshield in team fights and we were mostly able to get back to Heimer in time to keep him from cutting through our structures too fast while we pressured other areas on the map.

Maybe I should stick with Vi. She snowballs pretty well and can play from behind somewhat decently outside of siege defense (an issue with most melee champions). I was deathless for quite a while and then went a little ham while we were sieging their Mid base turret and died. Died in a teamfight later, and then died when I walked the wrong way and ended up in the middle of their entire team. So need to watch that being careful when I have a shut down bounty on me. Only worth if we get more for it we lose by giving over the bounty.

We were doing pretty well in every lane and eventually I think Yasuo got fed up with the situation and he just started split pushing and proxy farming after his wave died. Fortunately we were dealing well with his team, which left us time to roll over and take him out without giving up objectives in return.
