I still don't feel I need an upgrade from my Wii (and occasionally GameCube) but I mostly buy these consoles for Super Smash and some other specific titles and spend the rest of my gaming time on a computer. I got there at around 5:20AM-ish I sat in my car for about 10-15 minutes and noticed to my surprise that the mall doors weren't closed but open there was a janitor driving by on a floor-cleaner and the mall doors kept on opening up as he drove by them. "do I just walk/sneak in? would I get thrown out, did he forget to lock the doors after he finished cleaning the entrance?" these were some of the were the thoughts going though my head, but I decided what the heck, I might as well see if I can get in, but breaking and entry is exactly my strong point so I wait for the janitor to see me, he's making a lap around good, we lock eyes then to my surprise he motioned me to come inside? I wondered why I was invited in so easily, a little back story about this mall they have a high crime rate, so I why is he so carefree about letting me in hours before opening, so many questions but who cares I'm in the mall 4 and a half hours before opening. I caught up to him and asked him if I could wait outside GameStop, he said it was fine at least I think he did? he didn't speak English very well so I tried to get his name just to be on the safe side encase I ran into a mall security guard only to be asked "what the hell are you doing in here!" so I could say "Avi said it was okay" at least I think his name was Avi? who knows. I then made my way to GameStop, hoping that I would be first in line, but nope there was already someone there, I asked him how he got in, turns out it was his day off as a mall security guard, and he knew exactly what time they open up the mall doors for the janitors, so there was no way I was going to be first in line without knowing that. He then explained that a lot people don't know this but a lot of the elderly like to use the pathway around the mall as a mileage marker, since this mall is exactly a 1/4 per lap around the mall [size=1]it's a small mall[/size] and that they open up the mall to walkers when the janitors come into clean at 5:30ish. As I sat there waiting for game-stop to open in the little food court just about 30-40 feet away from GameStop I watched about 10-15 elderly people just make laps around the mall once they hit 4 laps they left and another would just come to take there place. [b]Wheres grandma at 5:30AM making laps around the mall that's where?[/b] then at about 8:30 here comes another walker a little younger then the others, as she was about to make it around gamestop, she just stops. Grandma's not walking she's camping! I say to the other guy "well looks like we have to wait by GameStop now, we walk over and she says "are you both waiting too?" and we say "yup" worried she was going to pull the well I was at the door first, we politely discuss our line order. She was cool, the off duty security guard was 1, I'm 2, and she was 3. We then all talked about school, jobs, and the switch, she had no idea what she was buying just that her son wanted the new Nintendo console, her son had to work or had school can't remember but she was defiantly just earning mother of the year award by camping out. At this time I noticed a really fat family walking up, more campers or walkers? They were just walkers they only made one lap, or maybe two but hey you gotta start somewhere and that's awesome. The next camper came at around 9:15, and the last at around 9:30. about 15 minutes before the store opened the girl opening the GameStop opened the door and said "I'm not opening the store I'm just getting a drink, but the shipment doesn't get here till 10:30-11:30 and I'm not going to have enough for everyone I"m supposed to only get 4-5 but we have to hold 3 of them." She said this while locking the door behind her, and before we could say anything off she went "wait if they only get 4 then I'm not getting one and I sat here for 5 hours for nothing, but if they get 5 then the really nice lady trying to get one for her son won't get one unless I give up my spot." It was a textbook case of guilt vs want. So I might not get one if they get 4, and if they get 5 do I do the right thing, but that's also up for debate since I was there quite sometime before she got there and I was being paid to wait for one, ugh a true damned if I do, damned if I don't kinda of thing, "what do I do, what do I do?" My thoughts were racing do I pray? and if I do is that a selfish prayer? or do I pray for guidance to do the right thing which sounds somewhat less selfish? I think I did both, meanwhile the other two that showed up were fairly pissed and rightly so, when you call up the day before and are promised that the store will be getting a shipment of 4-5 and you show up in the 4-5th position you should be confident that you are getting one. Now armed with the knowledge that they have to hold 3 of them you can basically count yourself off, but to my surprise they stayed and decided that hightailing it to another GameStop wouldn't be worth it. Seeing them continue to wait out somehow gave me some peace of mind strangely. Will this story have a happy ending? Well I already said in the last post I got one, so was I scumbag did they get 6? tune in tomorrow to find out. nah I will just finish this up quick, they ended up getting a double shipment hooray! A few questions did another GameStop in the area not get their shipment? was there an error with the order? or did every GameStop get more then they thought they were getting? Who knows but after trying to call the management/someone the girl working at game stop just decided to sell them I really hope she didn't get in trouble for that, but it was awesome and I totally should of asked for her number, but to wrap this up we all walked out with a switch, including two others who showed up after the store opened, and before I knew it 7 where sold and 3 where put off to the side.[/spoiler] [spoiler= thought's so far] well I thought that was going to be a quick story but it ended up being longer then I thought it would... any way I ended up buying Super BomberMan R and the Binding of Issac+After Birth, while also picking up a copy of Zelda breath of the wild. first SuperBomberMan R I have only played it for about two hours, but I can already agree with what most reviewers are saying for what you get compared to other BomberMan games it is a little over priced. And the method for unlocking new multiplayer stages is garbage absolute garbage. But overall it plays really, really well. However if your going to play multiplayer use the dock and play it on a bigger screen the switch is too small to play this from a distance with other people. I will post more on this once I play it more. current recommendation wait for a price drop then get it, but that could change as I play the story mode and dive into the online play a little bit more. The Binding of Issac+ After Birth Never played it before, but I am really enjoying it so far I played it with my brother and had a lot of fun I look forward to beating this game. will post more about it later. Zelda Breath of the wild haven't had the time to play it yet, going to wait for when I'm not on a lunch break so I can sit down and get a solid 4-5 hour play session. Overall I am very satiated with the switch the biggest hold back for the switch in my opinion right now, is it's library, but that will change with time. the second is the price of Peripherals and accessories, which as of now do not look like it will change anytime soon...[/spoiler][/quote]
