This one did not go so well.
Lux got stomped in Mid lane. Apparently they hadn't played in a while and it showed. This Caitlyn also did not take into account her animation times, missing laying out some of the damage she could have been doing simply by AA. Tryndamere didn't know the rule about split pushing where you try not to die. Apparently Trinity Force Warwick is a thing. Proved hard for me to deal with when he got onto me.Teammates definitely are a big deal. Sometimes champion pics as well, but getting it all to sync up is hard sometimes.
And another support with no
Sightstone. Which was apprently not needed! Uhm, we lost. Lack of vision is always a contributing factor. Twitch couldn't attack move so that didn't help matters. Malzahar got out roamed by Taliyah which is sort of a given, but if you need to get something in exchange for it and we weren't getting that.
This one was kind of back and forth though in total gold we apparently had a decent lead. Knock up comp with
Galio, Zyra, and Yasuo was kind of annoying. Our Ahri was elated to end up in Gold with this win. Came down to a couple of slugfests that we came out ahead in ever so slightly. That lead to a couple of towers and then a Elder Dragon and a Baron. With that we were able to run it up Mid and take their Nexus.I often find I start dying before I can get into my
Trinity Force so I've been going Guardian Angel as a second item. Delays a big power spike but, it has kept me on the map longer so I tend to fairly quickly start building up the gold for the components of Trinity Force. I find that I like Titanic Hydra as a third damage item for the added bulkiness and for the additional wave/camp clearing power.Enjoying having the utility of and AoE stun via
Counter Strike. It helps with early ganks and picks later in the game as well as the occasional group stun that can make a big difference in the outcome of a fight.
Welp, needed some amount of AP so decided to go
Swain. But it has been a while since I played him and it showed. First I forgot how long his ultimate cool down is with only one point in it, which gave Renekton and opportunity to stun me and chase me down. Then he roamed down to Mid and picked up double buffs and a double kill and I didn't realize he had double buffs when he camp back to lane, so that got me killed a second time. So that was bad enough, but the rest of the team was just getting trashed, so no help there. Ah vell.
And I am on a Top streak apparently now. This game went better than the last since I had my combos down decently. Wasn't initially sure if I was verses the
Kayle or the Galio, but neither are good match-ups for Swain. Again it didn't matter so much how I did as the rest of the team was not doing well at all.The reason the match-up is annoying with
Galio is one his magic resist shield prevents a lot of your harrass and two, his Q does insane damage, so you really have to make sure you dodge it. Early boots might even be worthwhile (starting?) just so you can dodge the Q and the follow-up bum rush. Master Yi and I teamed up to kill Galio a couple of times, but Jax was shadowing Yi well enough to clean up a couple of those altercations even when we had originally come out ahead.
Note to laner's. Most junglers ganks about the 3 minute mark if they are going to gank after their 2nd buff. Don't pick that time to go all aggro if you don't know where their jungler is at and especially if your jungler is not near at hand.
Poppy - I almost got him.Note to junglers don't invade if your laners don't have priority and you don't know where the enemy jungler is located. You can may squeeze in and look, but don't stick around to do a camp. (this note is really for me). Went after
Master Yi's raptors after he finished ganking Top lane. To be fair I didn't go their immediately. I think he stopped to have lunch after he killed the Krugs because it took him that freaking long to do them, so I was really not expecting him to be in the area and so I died for my sins. Ahri was stomping Mid and roaming well. I was able to sneak the first dragon though it was a bit later than I would have liked. Picked up the next two as well, though that was simply because we had lane priority or got a pick before I went for them.After we picked up their Mid and Top base turrets and a couple of kills in the process they called it quits.
We got outfarmed and outscaled. And also gave them a free Baron when
Janna and Cassiopeia got caught. Sans that we probably would have been able to close out the game before getting outscaled. Sad day.I seem to have trouble closing out games with
Warwick.

Kept seeing things develop on the map and heading in that direction as soon as it started to go down, but was still behind where I would like to have been, but part of that was definitely some misplays by my team, mostly around the TF ult.
