Sunfire cape is usally only bought when a champion needs to push a wave faster. If you were going against specific tanks such as naut malphite etc I think those items might work well enough to the point where you can lifesteal tank all there dmg

Yi has the upper hand because of his raw dueling power. You aren't ment to be a split pusher, but either a disrupter in darkin or assassin in shadow assassin

Great and in depth guide for a champion thats only been out for less than a day! I really would recommend maxing W or getting it to at least level 3 instead of maxing Q first. It gives him great poke for free, while Q is more of a risky ability. It may miss one of the animations not doing any damage at all, and its pretty much a guaranteed trade. He's made to be a jungler, so maxing q makes sense but i feel W is just better when laning. Great guide nonetheless!

I see what you're saying, but there are other reasons to consider I would say. If you go down to the math of it, Q deals more damage than W if you land both parts and Q gives you mobility in order to dodge skill shots and react to your opponent and it's instant on cast, while W has a windup. You can escape things like Kled's beartrap, Darius' Q, and dodge close calls on Jayce's EQ combo. Plus Q has a way lower cd and more %cdr per level than W (1/7 vs 1/13) giving you more skill usage opportunities.
