It's funny because I was sitting at work and wondering why so many people have posted things outside of their shops (if they had one) so...Then I thought DERP we could use a gallery. Now people can post things here if they want and it'll get recognized.

Welcome to the MOBAVERSE Gallery. A Thread dedicated to the posting of personal creations. These creations can be wallpapers, signatures, random creations, fractals, C4Ds etc. This is a place where new/old/famous/infamous/noob/experienced artists can post their works to be viewed by the public. In essence this gallery is meant to consolidiate the recent works of artists and save space on the forum, as well as offer artists the ability to post works for review without there being bias.
I would ask that you follow MOBAFIRES rules about content and behavior and my rules about posting pieces and responding to pieces.
-If a piece is posted the artist may request "CnC" keep the CnC civil. Honesty is appreciated, but being degrading is not.
-If an artist does not request feed back, then refrain from leaving any aside from simple "likes it" or "don't really like it" comments.
-If an artist wishes to post anonmyously they simply need to PM me.

Since boredom have taking over, i decided to continue my adventure in this "Photoshop" thing.

I actually don't use photoshop, but I see what you mean. So I tried to do what you said on the program I use, and i think it looks better. I soften the entire image, other than karma and the fan.

Reworked the kat sig a bit more. Tried to create lighting to explain the hair (not really plausible placement I suppose)
added more to the foreground and applied soft brushes to her face at low fill/opacity on overlay to create some red glow on her face. CnC? Please be gentle?
I tried a lot of effects on this image at first, removed 99% of them, but feel like I at least have a better overall idea of how to use GIMP now.
Anyway, I turned Wukong into a mage and.. Well I added a bit of fire.. CAUSE IT'S A DRAGON FFS
(no need for cnc btw, though all of you are allowed to share your opinion of course :3)

The thing is - I had done one before and was about to save my psd.
Then windows was like.. WINDOWS UPDATE! NO CHANCE TO SAVE YOUR WORK! SHUTTING DOWN NOW *****!
and I lost my hard work....

Its my 3rd try at "smudging".. not sure how I like the technique.
EDIT: ^_^ Sorry ran outside for a cig so I didnt write anything. I'm really getting into this style...Whatever you wanna call it. Smudging a little bit here and there to help with blending. Next step is to really get better with lighting.

Yeh I do actually jeffy, I think it fits with the whole sig pretty well.
And also I took away the fists from my sig because they didn't work with the flow, and made it look out of place (thanks to eleeeeka for that one).

uhmm went a bit c4d mad, not much really to say^^...
few criticisms myself, c4d right his head, too bright, needs deleting. uhmm....the c4d spark below his eye is a bit annoying.....i didnt render the image too well.....bubble c4d? why? :D...uhmmm bottom right of the render...yeah fail rendering ftw:D probably want to be smudging that area sort of improve the flow.....depth is also all over the place.....wow this sig isn`t my best^_^ probably spend a bit more time.....still looks good imo^_^

So this is my first piece in Photoshop without using a tutorial. I am sorta pleased, it's probably my most complex piece, although nothing as complex as some of the pro's on here do, although I think I am improving slowly o.o. I did enjoy making it of course, so it's all good. And I think I prefer Photoshop to GIMP (I'm glad after I spent so long downloading brushes for Photoshop ;p) Anyways, feel free to CnC and be as harsh as you want.
I also am learning photoshop at the moment, which is why I still haven't finished those signatures I need to make in my shop. But that's okay I guess, don't want to produce **** for my customers!

Yeah. I just created the second best sig ever.
Nothing special, just messing around with smudging.
Still doing really basic stuff.
Dunno what to do otherwise really.
Just a random sig again, main things I did were coloring his eyes and using a path for my text (which I really struggled with in the beginning, kept making annoying mistakes which screwed everything up -.-')

Worked on my sig some more, decided to add in something else. Not really sure about it though... main issue is it messes with the focus. A lot IMO.
Also, couldn't decide on a few things, here are my 3 new versions of it:

I tried to put text on the skull again, but didn't work too well, and I prefer having it on the shoulder compared to the alien's head. I also tried to make the Alien less of a focus grabber, but still being there.
Needs some more work I think, and I have no idea how to handle the text :/
Anyone have some suggestions or CNC of how to improve this?

So I was thinking....What if we did a sort of collage with all of us working together...Kind of like a worm, but rather than linear or vertical...It's a wall. The common theme being we use the mobafire logo as part of our background. Each of us gets a small piece of it, and we incorporate it in our sigs...THEN we put them all together making the mobafire logo....IDK how to explain it really...Thoughts?

Since I made a sig for Redeemed Riven, I figured I might as well do the same for another skin I recently bought ^^
It's very dark, but that's something I did on purpose. The idea of the sig being that Lee is blind and has to fully rely on his senses (which is why I chose this quote, too). Of course it doesn't matter whether it's dark around him or not since he's blind anyway, but I figured this would be a better way to.. 'visualise' my idea behind the sig :P

Interesting that I didn't use a sepia filter. Simply applied a gradient map and adjusted it here and there, guess it looks like I used sepia without doing it XD. But ty for the CnC^_^
This was fun. Only issue is the lighting in the four corners Imma try to fix it.
Screwed around with a tut I found. Turned out alright I suppose. I screwed up with the lighting and my attempt to fix it is too obvious. But overall I feel the composition/flow/blending are decent.

I am extremely pleased with how this turned out, I even recorded me doing it, but no sound, possibly going to do a voice overlay tutorial, either way, got it done, very happy with it, and am working on the tut for it!
