His ult is very strong and he's still amazing in both 5s and solo q... But his laning is no longer godlike and if you ult out of lane and don't succeed, you will be severely punished for it. Jungle shen is VERY slow but does have kickass ganking ability. Ezreal is probably the strongest AD carry in the game right now, his kit just synergizes so well. Malphite doesn't lose top to anyone... Great jungler as well. Zyra is still op.[/i] Being Played a Lot: Top - hard to say, really.. irelia, vlad, jax probably. Mid - Zyra, Ahri, TF Bot - Ezreal, Graves, Corki Support - Taric Jungle - Skarner, Nocturne, Amumu Other Notes: From an outsider's view, 2k is like the holy grail of elos. In my eyes it's the new 1700. It seems like everyone nowadays is 2k and to truly consider yourself one of the best, 2.2k+ is where you need to be. That is my new goal, and I am also passively searching for a new team while I am doing this. Earlier I was on a team full of 2k+ players and we were having a lot of success. Scrimmed another 2k team and stomped them. Scrimmed jpak's team (all 2.2k+) and lost, though I would say every lane was close but mine (fucking malphite...). After that had to leave for a week, and two players on the team just completely disappeared, team was disbanded. Played on some other teams, a lot of 1900 players aren't that good, because like I said there are a ton of them. Kinda showed me that it's time to stop being content sitting at this elo and kick it into gear and win some games, which I've started to do now (finally). 2k is no longer enough. Tips - Honestly people continue to search for the "secret" to beating elo hell. The truth is there is no secret. No, spamming one champ every game does not guarentee you elo. Nor does being nice to everyone all the time. Nor does saying "not support" in chat and never ever supporting (see: orB Lemonnation, rank 1 plays only support). I've smurfed enough times to know that elo hell does not exist. No, elo hell is not at all elos. It's a myth. You will lose some games. You will lose due to trolls. It happens. If you are truly better than your elo, you WILL climb, and once you get that through your thick head that YOU are the sole reason of why you gain and lose elo, you will start to climb (if you are good enough). Nomadz and I run kill lanes bot and stomp at [b]1700[/b]. I've gone AD teemo at 1700 and gone legendary in 10 minutes. When my queue pops I usually ask for top. It's not just top, you can carry out of every role, it just happens to be the role I main. I usually get it. If I don't get top I'll usually lee jungle, or trist bot, or support. Good knowledge of the game will allow you to carry out of every role. Abuse your resources... There are tons of helpful threads on the forums, tons of streams, tons of stuff on reddit. There really should be no reason why you can't improve. I still need to improve, and that's why I have set higher goals for myself.
