Great build, personally i think it's the best one here i am a big Garen player and always use this build

Your build is good very good build.
Order not so good i think but item you get not bad
you get frozen mallet first because very the make you health champion
then you might get more damage example is the infinite edge
you also guide have image but other more attractive some of them so you choose is better

Thank you very much for the good input! I do plan on adding more to this guide INCLUDING situational items. I stayed up very late making this guide so when I have the time I plan to remove Frozen Mallet with the Yomou's Ghostbladeand put Warmong's earlier in the build.

Nice start man. I would like to see from this build a section about situational items. This is generally helpfull for people who are new to league and don't know how to counter. Your build is a bit offencive, but that is just your playstyle. Talk more about how to teamfight and lane as garen, but other than that your golden.

This is not a bad start at all, I'll give you that, although there are a few areas you should clean up and consider changing. Garen does actually benefit from crit, so Infinity Edge is a fine purchase, although I wouldn't necessarily rush it. I think you'd be better off buying a Giant's Belt after your first B. F. Sword and THEN building into that IE, so you aren't too squishy in the mid-game phase. Item progression is very important for these sorts of snowball-like champions, garen being a good example. You want to press your farm/kill advantage as much as possible while the lane phase lasts.

Next thing, Frozen Mallet does not proc its slow on Judgment, that's all there is too it, and we all know Garen is not an autoattacker, so I would say leave this item out in favor of an early The Brutalizer or even Hexdrinker as both are solid mid-game items that can be built into stronger ones.

Garen scales incredibly well with attack damage, so try switching out your current quints with 3x Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage and you'll get ~10 more damage out of both your Decisive Strike and Judgment both with 1.4 scaling.

IE is there because of garen's third skill,its damage can increase as your crit chance increases however i think it should only be bought as a luxury item

you might want to get some Survivability items earlier on as you run the risk of getting gank-ed by a oppenent jungler and as the guy mentioned on top ^ suggest some situational items for different situations,eg. getting killed early on and behind on CS and level

why do you want to get Infinity Edge on him? imo the new Maw of Malmortius would be a better option, because it gives you some MR aswell, you also said yourself, that garen is hardly autoattacking, so why IE when there are only little autoattacks?

Ur build is good, but consider taking the Warmog before Frozen Mallet. Also u just don't need 3 doran blades, 2 are enough. Try adding some gameplay tips, situational items, etc
