Jax is a really strong champion and he
counters Attack Damage champions because
he has that dodge ability.
Also, yes, you can jungle him. I don't know
what runes you have, so you might have some
troubles there. But perhaps with some help initially
and such, you might do it. I would recommend trying it
out in your own custom game though perhaps.
Furthermore, I really would recommend you simply
wait until you're higher level, before you jungle
him.
A very obvious tip is:
Farm. Farm a lot. A fed Jax can be a nightmare
to contend with.
Another tip:
By activating your W first and then
using your Q to jump on them, you can
land both successfully at once, so it acts like
a burst. The alternative is to first jump
to them, then hit them with W, but that's slower.
Tip 3:
You don't always have to use your R when
fighting someone. Some people, they have a tendency
to just use everything they have, when they
really get into fighting someone face to face.
With Jax, that can be a bad thing. This is because
by using your R, you gain more armor and such, yes,
but you thus forfeit the extra damage you get
every 3rd hit.
Tip 4:
Everyone who has seen Jax in action, knows he can
jump to his enemies. Thus, when people see a Jax
coming, they sort of expect you to jump. However,
this has juking potential. A mistake many Jax players
make, is when they run towards you, they activate their
W. This ability doesn't last forever and it also gives
a visual clue, as to your intentions. Thus you can tell
if a Jax is about to jump, if he activates this ability,
prior to jumping. So if you do it, make sure you're
in range to jump or you might get kited !
Tip 5:
Follow one of the great Jax guides on this site! ^^
Just take the one with the highest percentage score
first time round. After you've gotten comfortable,
you can try check out other guides, which aren't neccesarily
as highly rated. You can check the guides here:

Activating your dodge, before jumping in, allows you
to then jump in with Q and stun people immediately, as the
dodge takes some time before it actually stuns.

I use jax in very sneaky ways,
most people expect you to use one build... the one that they happen to know, but you can really surprise people and turn the tides. For example, if you are solo top and you are doin well, keeping your farm up, and its now time for your first re. instead of going wriggles, which can be good armor and bonus lifesteal yadayada, grab the bildgewater and some wards, set up an escape route with said wards, ghost in, bilgewater OWN a guy, and Q out to your ward to successfully get away AND piss of the dude chasing you.

Anyway, I recently just bought jax, and I must say i'm finding him really fun. Was just wondering if anybody had any tips/tricks with him? Like your favourite order to buy items in/ build him?
Another thing, would it be possible to jungle with him? If so, even when i'm only level 16 and have few runes...
