This is a great idea if you want elo.
However I also recommend you learn one champ of every other role to a mediocre level before you start.
What I would suggest is that you learn one champ, one champ in the same lane that counterpicks your main champ, and one champ of every other lane.
Back to the question:
Rumble - Great snowballer with his ultimate. Top / Mid
Riven - Great pubstomp and great scaling. Top / Mid / Jungle
Malphite - Tankiness + CC + a LOT of damage underestimated. Top / Mid / Jungle / Support
Kennen - Safe lane and ranged harass + great scaling + great teamfights. Top / Mid / ADC
Alistar - Insane CC if jungling and great support that makes plays. Jungle / Support (AP Mid if you really want to do it lol)
Ezreal - Great AD Carry thats mobile and fun to play. Also can go AP for unexpected damage and sniping. Mid / ADC
Nidalee - Great top lane with safe poke and versatile enough to go AP or AD. Top / Mid / Support /
Lee Sin - High skill cap but rewarding champion. Scales well and pubstomps well. Top / Mid / Jungle
All I can think of atm.
Alternatively you could also learn an underplayed champion, EG: Volibear Top or Viktor Mid etc and stomp people with that, too.

cape, Abyssal Scepter, Rabadons and Sorcerer

So I'm looking for that one champ for me! Obviously, the champ has to be versatile enough to at least fit 2 roles, so I can play it most games. Ideally, no FotM champs, so it doesnt really get banned. The more lanes/spots it can go in, the better. Also, my original idea was Maokai. I could jungle, top, mid, or support with him. However, he is so utility/support oriented that almost all games depended on my team, regardless of how well i was doing. So a champion with at least a little carry potential is a big plus.
So throw out your votes! What do you think would be agood champ to play all the time?! Thanks!
