AP Mid's block

A week ago, I was literally dominating every mid laners, almost had no problem [[Charm]], had time to dive in, dive out with [[Spirit Rush]] before any junglers came. This current week, every game seemed to involved me having up to 5 deaths minimum per game, and only about 6-8 kills per game. No longer do I actually have the privilege of earning double, triple, quadra kills and what not. And no 10+ kills anymore. I tried so many tricks, [list] Aiming far off in hopes that my enemies are led to that direction Shooting directly because people gauge too much Shooting a bit to the left or right [/list] Thing is, I've been told by a friend that, on higher elo-ranked games, 1.5k elo, landing [[Orb of Deception]] and [[Charm]] is hard, not in sense that you're doing it wrong, but its because your prediction is getting predicted, meaning to say that your opponents are 1 step ahead of you. Funny how even now when a player is rushing to and you charm them while they're completely unaware of it, you can still [color=#008000]MISS[/color] I believe myself to be a good Ahri player in my own way, having up to 8 months of experience wiht her, AND ONLY HER. My entire 551 matches revolve around Ahri, 520 if not all. I handle myself fairly well towards players with a win rate of 700, 800 matches in AP mid. Yet, this week is just, ridiculously discouraging, and I've been thinking of dropping Ahri. Now even skillshot guides don't help. Just wondering, but does anyone have this problem as well ? My only tip is to take 0 chances. Only cast when you are 90% sure you are gonna hit. And 90% of the cases if you are sure you will hit, you will land it. There were a few games where I swore I hit my [[charm]] (like dead on) but it still didn't latch. Maybe a bug? IDK. Even before then though, I had some issues. My main ones are over predicting and under predicting. Most of the time I'll toss it out, and it would have hit if some one else didn't cc them already! Like [[Taric]] stunning them right before my [[charm]] or [[singed]] tossing. It is more than just skill, it can be team synergy and luck as well. IM SO CONFUSED [/quote] I think Garena's method of matchmaking system is a bit different from LoL. So for example, I have a record of 281 wins and 260 losses. That means that my match record is actually improving, I have more wins than defeats, hence the +21 gap. Now, if I maintain my winning streaks, the matchmaking system gets tougher and they'll pair me with higher skill capped opponents, to the point where I see 1.5k of wins ._. I was assuming that was how the NA LoL's matchmaking system operates as well. What I know is that your latest patches have balanced out the matchmaking system for a fairer match up. We have yet to receive that patch yet.[/quote]
