A really instructional video on how to land skillshots. The idea behind it is simple, but is seriously overlooked by many summoners.

Just trying to help give back to my community.

What are your thoughts on this video?

Also, are there any other meaningful instructional videos you know of?

Didn't really give me too much, seeing as the entire 16min Video could have been summed up in 2 sentences.

Position yourself in a straight line to your target.
Don't shoot arrows from weird angles.

I thought it was a good video, especially for new players. I never really had a problem with my skill shots but this video may help me get even better.Thanks.

I found rumiah's first point to be quite awkward to explain as well. The easiest way to explain it is that you should position yourself such that the skill shot in question is orthogonal to the plane of a champion's typical 'escape route', if that makes sense.

I think you're underevaluating the second point. It's more than just shooting arrows from not weird angles. It's that you shoot skillshots so that they go with the flow of the map. It's about partitioning every lane into 2-3 zones. The reason the video was so long was because he was giving examples of zones that a given lane can be split up into. That's why he was drawing on his map editor and stuff

The jungle can be split into a zone or two as well, but as you can imagine, it's a lot harder to shoot an arrow in the flow of the map if you're in the twisty jungle.

I hadn't really thought about it in this way as for firing my skillshots. I had already realized I shouldn't run straight forward or backward when dodging them, but hadn't thought about the opposite of when I fired them.
