Positives: Games were started up very quickly and changes were done quickly even though we lacked a spectator place.

Negatives: Games were extremely unbalanced; all of them were very one-sided. I think the host felt pressured to get the games started quickly and had no real idea of how to balance or what exactly everyone's level of skill was.

He was aight. Balancing felt a tad one-sided, 2/3 games were practically roflstomps. The first one felt alright, but even then, felt like there was a difference in team strengths.

No huge problems that he couldn't solve (by which I mean, there were no problems for him to solve).

He was far too easily influenced by the enemy when they told him to ban Amumu (I'll wire the money to your account tomorrow), but otherwise he's an upright referee to a fault. Kinda.

Getting into games wasn't particularly quick, but wasn't dragging either. Was efficient enough so that we weren't getting impatient.

1) You haven't been around during the "Nighthawk Era" whose record it is to take 1½ hour to start a game.
2) Honestly man, check the screenshots, that's not 'a tad one-sided', that's a massacre!

There was one point in the first game where I felt the other team could have taken the initiative to bring themselves back into the game (you weren't in that game). But even so, I had an extremely easy time myself, I suppose, only dying once to the enemy.

But then, as I said, the second and third game felt like absolute roflstomps. I was supposed to be relatively counterpicked top and I still had no trouble ( Poppy standing in Spirit Fire for 10 years and then claiming that I only killed him when I went 'all-in' on him :S Yeah, alright man, whatever you say). I practically didn't have to leave top-lane and the game was won. The last game was just ridiculous.

I really doubt it. I don't think Mazuran plays very much LoL, or at least AD carry. I mean no offence but it was pretty clear to me that his mechanics and positioning were extremely lacking. I honestly wasn't even playing well that game but the bot lane matchup was just super unfair in terms of skill/experience and I picked Caitlyn which didn't help. If I'd known beforehand I would've picked Quinn or something.

And yes the third game was very dumb, Egi didn't even have to do anything because Cho waited around for like a minute to get a kill, Yorick would harass endlessly and every time we would try to do anything about it there would be a teleport or multiple teleports. Both the second and third games were the kind of stomps where all you can do is stand under your tower and hope that things will be over soon.

OT: Although the games started quickly I think this is because there wasn't really enough effort paid to balancing and switching up the teams between games. I was on purple team for four games in a row which is pretty lame. In fairness it doesn't help that Riot had spectator slots disabled today which made it somewhat of a hassle to switch teams.

^ This.
I haven't played ADC in aaaaaaages, and I'm trying to get some practice. Still, that's no reason for you pick a sub-par champion imo. And tbh when I'm playing with you guys I'm waaaaaay out of my depth.
(And Penguin was ace support - I just didn't really back him and Wayne up when they went all-in.)
(EDIT: No offence taken. I'll take any advice I can!)

Back on topic, games were started quickly, and Meiyjhe was good at accommodating for people as much as he could. Balancing would be less of an issue if I wasn't too heavy to carry :P
(EDIT 2: Actually, if Meiyjhe only looked at the signup form and at people's rankings, the games weren't *that* unbalanced. At least 3 silver players a team, and the team I was on had a gold ranked player to boot. So on paper at least, they're roughly balanced)

Well I meant because I've mained Caitlyn for like almost two years. I ended up playing Ashe against Fox and Maw in the next game anyway for reasons that quickly became unclear. Out of curiousity though, haven't you been playing for a really long time? I remember seeing you around back during season 1 so I was wondering how come you've played so few games.

Balancing is super hard to be fair, I hated doing it when I was hosting inhouses. Even when Khazem was hosting there would be some inhouses that ended up being complete stomps. It's hard to avoid when there's a range of skill levels.
