The skill choice for leveling up is all wrong for this. You start with visions, then swarm because they attack whomever has visions, then end with void because void resets visions. You get almost double the damage from it. Many times visions is almost back up when it finally wears off. You start with visions, then void, then swarm at level 2, then max visions, and then void.

If you mean for the first clear, Call of the Void deals substantially more DPS than Visions does.

Call of the Void (Rank 1): 70 damage, 6 second cooldown = 11.66 DPS (multiple targets)
Malefic Visions (Rank 1): 80 damage, 15 second cooldown = 5.33 DPS (10.66 with reset)
Void Swarm (Rank 1): 70 damage, 8 second cooldown = 11.3 DPS (single target)

For clearing camps, Call of the Void is absolutely the highest DPS, even when accounting for the Malefic Visions reset and even assuming you don't let voidlings die at all (though often they tank camps a bit). Note that Voidlings also only deal 300% bonus damage to minions, not monsters, and will target nearby monsters even if Malefic Visions is not on them.

After the first clear, Call of the Void still matters more because the silence scales with rank and its AOE DPS continues to mathematically outpace Malefic Visions against camps. Further, at just 50 Ability Haste, it's possible to permanently keep up Malefic Visions on a single-target with just Call of the Void anyway, since it hits 4 seconds at that point which perma-refreshes Malefic.

I wish you can make a guide for Malzahar for URF (Ultra Rapid Fire), because he is so unbeatable and if anyone follows your guide for URF? It will be literally done for the enemy team x'D

I now actually want to try this build.

What about the recent scuttle changes? Do I just do scuttle crab last because by the time it spawns I have already cleared my way to topside jg.

I'm still experimenting with various clears. Right now I'm doing a full jungle clear (Blue, Gromp, Wolves, Raptors, Red, Krugs) and just skipping the scuttle entirely, unless it's free for taking.

This might not be ideal though hence why I haven't updated the guide. I'll have to consider more options first.

Sorry for the delay in response! I generally find that Tear of the Goddess is more than enough mana for all my needs. The first clear takes some practicing to get done correctly with enough mana, but I'll soon have videos displaying everything so hang tight!
