Lissandra started to see competitive play in Asia recently. Wings of Aurora tried her out as a support versus World Elite. The Ice Witch was also tried out in mid lane by Saigon Jokers’ NIXWATER. One thing was consistent across the all the quarterfinals: the prevelance of Kennen. Out of a total of 14 games, Kennen was picked or banned in 11 of them. Teams ran Kennen in the top lane 8 out of the 9 times; NaJin Sword played him in mid once. That one time he was in the mid lane was the only time that Kennen lost in the quarterfinals, which means he has a 100% win rate among top laners. read more (2 comments)

There is a new bully in town. Quantic Gaming, the heavily favored challenger team to bust into the NA LCS, rolled over the competition to secure a berth in the NA LCS summer split. They defeated Team Astral Poke 2-0 in the first round. In the second round Quantic went rampant over CompLexity, also sweeping that series 3-0. CompLexity finished up the spring NA LCS season 5-5 and showed some serious promise moving forward. However, Quantic stifled their momentum by outclassing them and showcased their potential moving forward in the summer season. read more (6 comments)

Today is Friday, May 17th, which means that All-Star Week will be upon us shortly. From May 24th through May 26th, five teams from across the world will compete for not only the glory of the tournament, but for an extra spot at the World Championships for their region.
