North American Semi-Finals

With MLG rules prohibiting roster changes mid tournament, Team Dynamic was playing without their new Jungler, Atlanta. In their match, Team Curse took advantage of this by punishing TD's substitute, ClakeyDeeeeeeeee, who ended the series with a 1.7 KDA which aided to Curse's victory over Dynamic 2-0.

TSM.Evo and Orbit Gaming fought for the last spot in the finals in a bizarre series. Game 1 ended in favor of Orbit with a gold differential of +10.1k and taking 12 structures to TSM.Evo's 2. TSM.Evo surged back taking game 2 with a gold differential of +17.8k and blanking Orbit 10-0 in structures. Finally in game 3 Orbit came back guns blazing, earning a +16k gold differential and knocking out TSM.Evo in an upset while sending themselves to the finals to face Team Curse.

The NA qualifier finals begin today at 8:00PM EDT/ 5:00PM PDT. As of now, there will be no official stream, but MLG sometimes allows for players/casters to stream it so be sure to check out your favorite community sites to see if these matches will be streamed.

European Semi-Finals

Despite having marginally more kills, Team Curse EU completely dominated the pushing game in both matches, taking down a total of 17 structures compared to the 1 of Fnatic.

Gamehoppers.eu and BLACK were slated to play July 18th, but as of now the teams have yet to play. There have been no announcements just yet about why this match has not been played yet or about the finals that the winner is supposed to be play in later today.

The EU qualifier finals are scheduled begin today at 4:00PM GMT, but because of the issue stated above, this could be delayed. We will be giving an update on this as soon as we hear a ruling. Just like the North American qualifier, there will be no official stream, but MLG sometimes allows for individual players/casters to stream it!

UPDATE 2:30PM EDT: Gamehoppers, unfortunately, had to play with a substitute jungler against BLACK at 12:00PM EDT and BLACK won the match 2-0. They go on to play Team Curse EU on Tuesday July 24th in the European finals.
