ELOBlade: The New Alternate eSports Central

A new team broke out onto the scene in the past month and that team is the creation of ForellenLord. The talented AP carry was upset with his former Alternate team at the European Regionals, where they didn't win a game, and decided to start over. The team he created has enough skill on it that they could quickly become a top team in not just Europe but possibly the entire world of competitive League of Legends.

"I played with KottenX alot...we knew each other for some months already. After I decided to leave Alternate, I contacted him, as I knew Na'Vi was disbanded as well." Carl 'ForellenLord' Luckmann continued, "Don't ask me where and how but [KottenX] had Kerp and Metalx in his bag, and I had LeofromKorea because he already played in Alternate."

The team was just picked up by ForellenLord and LeofromKorea's previous team, Team Alternate. The previous team of Alternate featured lesser known players for sure and never placed that well at any offline event. This new Alternate team looks to change that, ForellenLord said, "To be honest, the new team instantly filled out with great personalities. I didn't expect that, I was quite lucky. I'd like this team to have more professionalism [than the previous Alternate]."

The team that he has put together consist of top players throughout Europe that have played on various top teams.

Adrian 'Kerp' Wetekam, the top lane player, is probably best known for his time on Teamless or possibly Luna Gaming. He is currently at around 2827 elo in the solo queue ladder on EU-W. He has started to focus on playing a lot of Jayce and Irelia in the top lane. He was more of a jungler but he is able to play top lane at a very high level.

Markus 'KottenX' Tingvall, the jungler of the team, is known as the guy that controlled the game for Natus Vincere. He currently is at 2227 elo on EU-W. Shyvana and Shen are his favorite junglers but lately he has played a lot of Skarner and some Nocturne.

Tom 'MetalX' Latour, the AD carry for the team, was formerly on LowLandLions, Western Wolves, and Teamless. He is around 2363 elo on EU-W. The guy is proficient with Ezreal and Graves and is the key to late game victory for Team Alternate.

Lukasz 'Leofromkorea' Mirek, the companion of MetalX in the bottom lane, was on the Alternate team with ForellenLord. He sits at 2119 elo on EU-W. The bottom lane likes to run a Sona and Leona as their support and are quite aggressive. However, MetalX and LeofromKorea can also play the passive game quite well.

ForellenLord, the AP carry and leader of the team, was on the first Alternate team. He is known for being the first in the world to reach 2700, 2800, 2900, and 3000 elo. He is very skilled at a range of AP carries but plays a lot of Ahri, Orianna, and Twisted Fate. Yesterday, he broke out an AP Nidalee that chunk-ed people down with long range spears.

ForellenLord believes that this team will be a top 3 team in Europe and that they can compete with the top teams from all over the world. ForellenLord said, "Top 3 is just a minimum goal...I'd 100% call us top 8."
