The team of the day was of course Monomaniac Ferus. The former team of mTw was able to take down their sister team, Monomaniac Imperium, in the first round and then won an incredibly hard fought series against TSM EVO. The former TSM EVO AD Carry now playing on Monomaniac Ferus, Aphromoo, proved that his decision was not a bad one since they sent EVO down to the losers bracket to face unRestricted eSports. Monomaniac Ferus will move on to play Team Curse in the winners final of the blue bracket.

Team Dynamic showed the viewers of MLG just how lethal they are with NintendudeX in the jungler spot. Today the team seemed calculated in the early game which led to a very strong late game with advantages that they would not let go of. However, in the 2nd game of the series against Team Legion, Lautemortis accomplished his goal of getting Demunlul farmed and the game snowballed out of the control of Team Dynamic. The young Team Dynamic went on to win game 3 in a stomp. Dynamic will move on to face Team Dignitas in the winners final of the red bracket while Team Legion moves into the red losers bracket to face a 4NOT team that did really well against CLG Black.
