Beating her is hard, just laning against her without feeding really shouldn't as long as you don't get by her snare (too often). No really, DoTs work on the plants (and he has tons of AoE, Conflagration will spread to plants) and you can burst her down from a distance to avoid her passive. I know because I've played her many times and I've hit a lot of snares that were in truth really predictable. I've laned against her a couple of times and didn't really have trouble (though it has to be said I played Ziggs who can farm safely against pretty much anyone).
