Hello this is Berzerk and I will be writing something I will call Top Facts, these will be facts about when to pick certain champions how to play them and what uses they can serve in your soloQ or Ranked teams. This will be my first Top Facts.

Overview:
Yorick is a Tanky-DPS champion who fights by summoning ghouls on his skills which deals Hybrid damage, magic damage on the initial skill cast and physical damage from the ghouls that follow. Yorick has little to no "counterpicks" that can shut him down in lane, and as most top lane players can tell you he is probably their least favorite matchup to fight. He has massive sustain and once he gets some mana regen is almost impossible to move out of lane. he has a slight falloff into the late game which is easily overlooked due to his ability to zone opponents and ultimate a ranged carry for a clone and a revive.

Top Facts -2- Nautilus

Champion Overview:
Nautilus is a Tank/Tanky Ap top lane. Nautilus top lane revolves around his allowing him to trade,DPS, Sustain, and Farm. Nautilus can receive ganks better than most champions in the game with a clicked knock up, a root, and a pullback. He is strong vs many lanes and can actually BEAT many popular FOTM top lane champions right now.

Skills Overview:

Passive:

Nautilus's first basic attack against a target deals bonus physical damage and immobilizes the opponent briefly. Staggering Blow cannot trigger on the same target more than once every 12 seconds.

Very good skill makes last hitting very easy once you learn the animation, and gives bonus damage in trades. The root is very nice in teamfights for locking down targets as you can root multiple enemies if you manage your passive on the enemy team.

Top Facts -3- Fiora

Champion Overview:
Fiora is a melle DPS champion capable of DPSing like an assassin in team fights if she can get a lead. She has strong early game thanks to her and can use that skill to beat out certain champions very hard. She loses to some of the FOTM champions in pure 1v1 fights in lane but if you have a strong CC jungler gank you can get a kill and snowball very hard. One of the scariest parts of Fiora is if she is allowed to farm or get kills she can CARRY a game hard if their carrys did not invest into a good amount HP.

Skills Overview:

Passive: - Fiora regenerates health over 6 seconds each time she deals damage. Striking champions will cause this effect to stack up to 4 times.

This passive will give you slight sustain in lane, you may not notice it but over the laning phase it could save you some pots. This passive will also heal a decent amount if you force a short trade (Which Fiora is good at)

Top facts -4- Poppy

Champion Overview:

Poopy, err I mean Poppy is a melle Dps, Ap DPS tanky burst assassin. She is one of the funnest champions to play in the league as well as having probably THE STRONGEST late game presence of any champion in the league. She can hold her own against most top lane champions, and can beat many popular "Win top Lane" champions like . Her laning phase is her biggest "weakness" (if you want to try and debate shes weak there), and once she gets a couple of items and makes it to late game she can rip enemy teams apart. She is 1000000% capable of taking a game on her shoulders and completely carrying it, however be warned she has a pretty decent skillcap and will take time to get used to.

I got addicted to poppy for awhile I loved being able to hard carry :D

Skills Overview:

Passive: -Any damage dealt to Poppy that exceeds 10% of her current health is reduced by 50%. This does not reduce damage from structures.

Top Facts -5- Riven

This is probably the first top facts for a "popular" top lane pick. I have been trying to get mostly fun unusually seen champions (I rarely see Yorick or Fiora, and Nautilus is mostly played as a jungler). However I will see Rivens top as my opponents in a good percentage of my games.

Champion Overview:
Riven is a melee carry (like Fiora), but is more along the lines of an AD caster (who autos in between her spells) she is manaless (meaning she only relies on cooldowns. Riven like Fiora and Poppy (No one carries as well as Poopy) is capable of carrying the game in her favor. She uses all physical damage has a really strong early as well as a really strong late. She can lane vs any champion in the game with her kit, having champions that are strong against her but they are not exactly "counters". Her skills have a weird feel to them the first time and will take a little getting used to.

Berzerk here, author of the top facts series. As of today (since school just ended)I have decide to make top lane videos for YouTube. These will be random matchups and may be featured in the top facts series. My name is LolBerzerk on YouTube subscribe of you like to lane gameplay :D (eventually I probably will do commentaries this was just a test video to kinda dip my foot in the water.

Decent game on my part, kinda was just a stomp everywhere though. This was one of the only games I could get Darius in due to it being his instalock day. My enemy is another Darius, I cs decently this game, and freeze the lane for abit, I get a lead and roll with it.

I dislike most AD carrys (AD bots my most hated role), but I do like some of them (sivir, urgot, vayne, graves) and thats because they can go top lane :D. Also Yey for a VERY underused unpopular top laner. Best sivir skin below (Maybe pax, MAYBE), sad thing is it costs 3.9k rp, lol.

Overview:
Sivir is an AD carry that can push like a boss and help your team immensely in team fights. Sivir's primary use on a team is a ranged carry, yes. But she is very strong against and top lane champion who does not have a strong gap closer (so mostly pick as a counterpick). She has a spell shield to block poke and she can counter trade very hard with he burst. The general concept is a lot like Kayle top, stay back poke and farm as you will outscale 90% of top laners into late game.

Skills Overview:

Passive: - Sivir's basic attacks against enemy champions grant her 50 Movement Speed for 2 seconds

Bored in a long car ride, needed something to do. Made this. These are just my general opinions on tiers as seen by me.

This tier list is my rating on top lane champions AS SEEN BY ME! Everyone sees lanes and such different so everyone will have their own different tier lists. This is just mine. Their is no specific order within the tiers on the champions, it is just a general categorization.

* means they are on borderline to going down and I'm on the edge with them.
^ Means I'm on the edge and could easily cave in on moving them up a tier.

Some strong common picks. They can usually do pretty well no matter who they fight. They typically can do well at all points in the game.

Tier 1: Nidalee, Riven, Irelia, Nautilus, Kennen, Udyr, Yorick, Malphite, Jax, Lee Sin, Kayle, Olaf, Rumble

Some picks that can be picked early on, but should not be first picks. They are typically centeralized around 1 point of time in the game.
