Working on this and I need some opinions.
I personally think the change to a minor key doesn't fit at all, but I'm unsure what to do next if I keep it in a major key.

The chords in m10-12 reminded me of one of the traditional Christmas songs...I don't know which one since I don't know most of their names rofl.
I think part of the issue with m24+ is that you drop the eighth notes from the bassline completely, instead of slowly dropping them or doing a smooth transfer to that movement.
Yeah, you've written it in D-major, so it makes sense to put it in D or B minor if you want to switch to a minor key.
(Psst, GMD. I need your advice on LoZ music. Two trombones would sound good playing WHICH LoZ songs? We have Kakariko Village, the Great Sea, and Hyrule Field, but that sounds really close to the Great Sea.)

I started fooling around with music writing when I was 13, so I've had a while to kind of screw around with various styles...but I've been struggling to really finish much of anything as of late.

Alright, I'll need to think about this so don't expect a quick answer.
didn't realised it was still playing when the second song started and I had to search for a few minutes where the singing came from xD
