Want More Supports? Don't Plan On It.

Hello again,

I remember way back in early 2010, one of my favorite champs to play was Taric. He was the complete package in the Heal/Poke Meta: a bulky tank-ish character capable of quality heals and stuns for the entire team to enjoy! Taric these days is still enjoyable to play, and still consistent in the upper tiers of play, but what has been shown recently by Riot themselves is an abundance of AD carries and AP bursts, stacking the 6300IP scene and raising havoc across Summoner's Rift. For fellow players like me who enjoy helping other Summoners carry the team to victory, is there any future to see more Support characters join the ranks? I wouldn't count on it. Here's why.

Reason #1: Riot likes Money

The sad but truest statement I'm going to make here is that in the world of Montages, live streams, and Solo Queue masters: High damage champions are going to sell out the wazoo in the League Community. I can safely say out of every team, at least three players are going…

Secretly OP Champs that nobody plays

Here's where things get crazy.

There are a lot of OP champs... You just don't know about them.

First on the list, Swain.

While he is not a force to be reckoned with on his own, he brings great team fight potential with his ult keeping him alive and harming the three closest enemies. Combined with the ever-popular Will of the Ancients and the not-so-popular

LATE VIK THOUGHTS

tldr: imo a very solid and original kit, but with a couple shortcomings that keep him from being a top tier champ in my eyes.

I've been in love with viktor from the very start. I bought him 5 minutes after he was released and played him for days. I'm no master, but I've got some pretty damn strong impressions so far.

PROS:
a) decently strong spells overall
b) really high poke range
c) can move while casting most powerful non-ult ability
d) slow/stun designed to perfectly block off any jungle path in its entirety
e) powerful aoe silence
f) augment adds something really essential to his kit.

CONS:
a) all spells besides his lazer have a SHORT range
b) his shield does not activate until AFTER the spell returns to him
c) Fairly difficult to get used to the laser for multiple reasons
d) stupidly slow move speed
e) remaining two augments that DONT get used are really pretty necessary to make his kit perfectly acceptable (not perfect)

Dat LAZER man. The damage is incredible even early…

UNDERRATED AND OVERPOWERED

Hello everyone, I know I have kind of slacked off on my blog but not to worry I'm going to try and put 1 up at least every 2 days, so please check back often.

Today I want to begin a series on under rated/under used items that are in reality kind of overpowered/amazing situational items. Today I would like to focus on 2 such items. The first is Hexdrinker

This item is an item that I almost never see on anyone. My question is while this is not as ideal for meta being AD v AP mid. However, If you send an AD mid why not rush this. You get magic resist, AD, and wonderful little passive that will save your butt against AP casters. Also for those of you who need more help surviving

FnaticMSI.LaMia in Taiwan!

LaMia has been in Taiwan for two weeks now and is having a fantastic time. A meeting with Garena.LoL in Taipei was arranged and some brilliant work has been produced. With the huge flock of FnaticMSI fans, Manuel has had plenty of fun playing and socializing with the Taiwanese players.

During his stay he has been doing some much awaited food tasting and sightseeing. His reason for going to Taiwan once again is due to enjoying it so much on his first trip, where he and the rest of FnaticMSI.LoL was flown out there by our sponsor RaidCall in a promotional trip. This time around it's more of a personal vacation, but no gamer can resist some action, especially when invited to play in the offices of Garena.

Manuel has done an interview with Erika Tseng from Garena in their head offices. You can see the video below:

FnaticTV LoLCast Special!

A few weeks ago, a competition was organized where fans of the FnaticMSI League of Legends squad got the chance to play alongside FnaticMSI.Mellisan and FnaticMSI.Cyanide. With four fans on each side, the two Season 1 Champ's went head-to-head with their fans. The match was streamed live by Cyanide but for those who missed the action, we're giving you a second chance as our FnaticTV crew will be casting the event for your pleasure.

The event will take place on Saturday at 17:00 EST, which means it will be a late show for the European followers, but don't worry, the stream will be uploaded to BLIP.tv and own3d.tv in order to give everyone who wasn't able to catch it live a chance to watch.

Joining our FnaticTV member Jackie will be Shaun "FourCourtJester" Delaney, who together will be bringing you some great coverage of the FnaticMSI.LoL squad in the future. This is first of many events planned, so make sure you keep up-to-date as we will be bringing you some great coverage included …

Enjoy !

Tobbebob's Trundley thoughts considering early jungle..

Hey all! It was time for me to create an account to Mobafire, which is something I've been wanting to do for ages now. However, I've been reading both blogs and guides in this very site regularly and decided to donate my forest of thoughts to this community.

Trundle has been an interesting champion tickling my mind for a while now. I bought him (you don't mind me referring him as "he" do you?) almost immediately when he was first released millions of years ago. In my opinion he was one of the funniest champions to play at the time in par with Maokai and I still do find him delicious to play.

After quitting regular ranked farming at 1550-ish ELO due to constant stress of having sane and fairly competent team mates and also due to a lack of the things mentioned earlier. I played rankeds for the fact I got my rating there. It intrigued me and got me something to sacrifice my thoughts to which was something I wasn't gotten used to earlier. In large amounts. After quitting those nasty ra…

"QQ" an Essay

**** YOU LOL I HATE YOU

Okay, now that I’m finally unbanned, I have a few things I’d like to say to clear the air. It’s not flaming when I tell you to uninstall LoL and then hang yourself by the neck until you are dead. It IS flaming when others defend themselves from my insults and/or mute me. See the difference? It’s easy to understand if you aren’t a noob. But you are a noob so are probably mentally ******ed. I’ll type slowly so you can understand easier.

OMG (insert any champ name here, but probably Tryndamere) is OP. When I play my fav champ (insert any AP carry champ name here), that other OP champ counters him/her. Anything that can counter my fav champ is by definition OP because anything I can’t learn to beat is OP. That’s because I’m amazing. I’m so awesome. Anything that beats me must be even more amazing, which is pretty unlikely since I’m l…

My Gaming FUTURE / What Year Is It?

...Whoa. (Keanu Reeve's Voice.)

Let me tell you about my gaming future. You guys are a little behind. Since a recent time travel accident I'm stuck in my "old" self again - and figure I'd share a few details. It's a hard situation to explain without a huge wall of text, so I'll spare you the boredom.

Let's see, this -soon to be extinct- machine in front of me tells me the year is 2012. Ah! The start of my luxurious romance with League of Legends and the amazing community here at MobaFire!

Let me tell you, things are about to change!

Not too far from now, Tryndamere vanishes! Into thin air! We never figured out if it was a plan by Riot or simply the gaming gods finally getting their due, but LoL takes an extreme turn for the better!

A few years down the road, I'm playing a game much like League of Legends. It's called "AWESOME GAME OF AWESOMENESS" or something like that. Basically, it's League, but in a Virtual Reality nearly indistinguishable from our own. It's pretty gr…
