various things wrong with this, maxing q first, taking shroud vs mid, warmogs, lichbane, even roa isn't as good as it once was.

Cho'Gath always maxes W first. No exceptions. Q only increases in damage, whereas W increases in damage AND silence duration, and others have mentioned that it's a far more reliable damage source.

I also don't like the idea of double dorans into RoA. Too late, imo. I'd just rush catalyst right away if I were going RoA.

How exactly can you go out of mana with passive+rod of ages+glacial+two doran's (if you go with those two)? Don't see it happening really.

Maxing q is the worst thing to max on chogath. Period the end.

Oh really? What would you max first then?
I might agree that maxing e before q is better IF u can survive melee engages vs your lane opponent. But maxing q gives u a good ranged cc that can save u under the tower or help you get that gank with your jungler.

@ autor of this guide, you should max W last or mix it up with E. Maxed W mid game is a waste of mana and you'll be oom 24/7.

This is a really well done guide, could use more coding but overall it was pretty decent only one suggestion I have, personally I would max Feral scream over rupture even though it does less damage. My reasoning is as follows: 1. especially in mid you will want a longer silence for better trades with and ap caster, epecially someone like fizz or another bursty champ, 2. it increases the time of your silence which means your opponent will have a harder time hitting you with damage oriented abilities, 3. its much easier to hit so your mana is less likely to be wasted, and 4. its the best way to piss of gankers, when they cant use an ability for 2 seconds when they are trying to gank? bro youre already at the tower.
