Introduction
This Anivia build is not only strong. Maybe you'll think 1005 AP ok but no chance to survive. Wrong =) If u follow the Purchase order you'll see that i first focus on the survivability of anivia. Mana is the most important thing for her. of course for all AP heros but anivias skills takes a lot of mana, especially her ulti.
The summary on top of the page cant show the 1005 AP because the passive of Rabadon's Deathcape and Archangel's Staff isn't shown and you dont have 6000 Mana it's JUST 4600 =)
Okay let's start with runes. Anivia needs Spell penetration, Cooldown and AP.
We take 9 times Greater Mark of Insight so we have a spell penetration of 9.
As you can see we are not going to buy any items with Cooldown so we need runes with Cooldown.
9 times Greater Glyph of Focus = 6% Cooldown + Mastery Tree = 11,89% Not that much but you will just need your Combo to kill them. If not, 6 seconds for your 2nd combo is totaly enough.
To reach the 1005 AP we need some AP from beginning. 9 times Greater Seal of Potency and 3 times
Greater Quintessence of Potency = 20 AP

I like to play Anivia on the mid lane. Solo top is an option. For both mid and top we take flash and teleport. Flash is always helpfull. To jump to the enemy and stun or to escape. Teleport.. I love teleport =) why teleport? while the enemy (without teleport) spends time to walk from base back to mid lane you can push to tower and dont lose that much exp. You gain automatically more exp than he or she gets. more exp = faster lvl up =) after the lane phase u can use teleport to gank or to save the tower.
Here im gonna tell you how to get these unbelivable 1005 AP. We start with Sapphire Crystal and 2 Potions. It's important that the next item is Tear of the Goddess. We need the +1000 Mana as soon as possible. Then the Boots of Speed. My hint: Go back when you got 945 Gold. 595 Gold for Tear of Goddess and 350 Gold for Boots of Speed =) We dont purchase the Sorcere's shoes next. We need something to survive. Rod of Ages is the perfect item for us for survivability. The passive of Rod of Ages takes time to stack. That's why we dont get the Sorcere's shoes first. After the Rod of Ages we buy the Sorcere's shoes. Now we need pure AP. Rabadon's Deathcap pushes our AP. The passive of Rabadon's Deathcap will push our AP. After you bought Rabadon's Deathcape you should have the +1000 Mana from Tear of the Goddess. Now we buy the Archangel's Staff. The Passive of Archangel's Staff is nice. 3% of your Mana will turn to AP. The passive of Rabadon's Deathcape will push our AP after every Archangel's Staff. 3 times Archangel's Staff and you got 1005 AP and a very good Manaregeneration.
Now it's up to you. Hit your stun, throw your Frostbite and dont forget your Ulti. And if they try to escape from your ulti and they will, put your wall in their way that your ulti can slow them a bit longer. enough to start your second combo with stun and frostbite. this time it's easier because your Ulti makes them move very slow so you can set your stun easy.
Anivia has just 420 hp at the beginning so be careful and stay behind your minions. wait for the perfect moment for your combo. 200+ damage (depends on enemy hero ) with one combo
