Introduction

Lux is by far the most overlooked champion in the game. She has incredible range and deadly burst damage, granted there is some level of skill in playing her but she is easy to learn. This build is more for a good/quick early game and late game you are just horribly annoying to your opponents.

Runes

While the main focus is to cut down the cool down time, some power does need to come from somewhere. While it is somewhat small, i made it so it comes from the runes mainly. You may flip to cutting down more time by using runes, but honestly you will not need it.

Masteries

Looking at it, I sincerely hope its enough said. But i was mainly going for cool down reduction while picking up some nifty things along the way. The cooldown reduction cuts 9% off of cooldowns

Items

I know exactly what everyone is thinking right off the bat, why would i get health regen, how on earth does that help. I went with it because i play middle with lux all the time and am only dealing with 1 enemy champion. Now usually its not a one on one between the mid champs they are focusing on leveling, well that doesn't change but it will be easy to catch an enemy in your Lucent Singularity and slowly start picking at their life. while if they are coming for you, you have no problem regaining life faster than they are.

Berserker's Greaves is a personal thing. It was actually attack speed that led me to this build and it has worked out, i always feel like **** when i can't sling enough spells to take full advantage of Lux's passive, so i went with attack speed and have raped face and gaining money left and right on minions.

After that, all the items are a given. There are mainly mana regen/ ablilty power items. If the game gets to be so long as to where you have bought everything but Randuin's Omen, then you are going to sell the philopher's stone and buying it.

Note: For those that don't understand UNIQUE PASSIVE, that means the ability "Cooldown reduced by 10%" is Unique. NOT that you can have one 1 item with that ability for it to work. SO if you have 4 Nashor's Tooth, NO u do not have %100 cool down reduction, you only have %25. If you don't believe me, then check it out yourself.

Note: If you do get all items then you have cut off 75% of cool down time.

Skill Sequence

The sequence is supposed to go with the item purchase order. Favoring attack speed early game, your taking full advantage of her passive.

Summoner Spells

This build is very mana costly so ignite come in handy when your out of mana and that little punk of an enemy is making a run for it.

Teleport...enough said. You are extremely helpful to allies with the laser and Lucent Singularity. You take care of all creeps, and your stun to enemies gets to everyone. BUT i recommend walking to help your allies, because when your lane's enemy notices your not there, he/she call everyone and pushes your tower, then you teleport back and tell them to back of after taking them all down.

Summary

This build was built with the idea of playing middle lane, Lux holds her own and does it well. It may take some time to learn your advantages with her large range, but it is easy to learn
