Skills

Ki Strike (Innate): Every 8 seconds, Shen's next attack will deal bonus magic damage equal to 4 + (6 × level) + (10% of his bonus health). Whenever Shen hits an enemy unit with a basic attack, the cooldown is reduced by 1.5 seconds. Shen restores 10 / 20 / 30 energy when he Ki Strikes.

Ability Description Leveling up

Vorpal Blade (Active): Shen throws a sword at an enemy, dealing magic damage. The enemy is life-tapped for 5 seconds; allied champions that damage a life-tapped enemy are healed over 3 seconds, with the duration refreshed upon subsequent damaging. If Vorpal Blade kills a target, Shen is healed for 33% of the normal amount.
Range: 475
Cost: 60 energy
Cooldown: 5 / 4.5 / 4 / 3.5 / 3 seconds

Magic Damage: 60 / 105 / 150 / 195 / 240 (+0.6 per ability power)

Heal: 6 / 10 / 14 / 18 / 22 (+1.5% of his maximum health)

Feint (Active): Shen is shielded for up to 3 seconds or until it is destroyed. While Feint is active, Ki Strike's cooldown reduction on hit is doubled to 3 seconds.
Cost: 50 energy
Cooldown: 9 / 8 / 7 / 6 / 5 seconds

Shield Strength: 70 / 115 / 160 / 205 / 250 (+0.6 per ability power)

Shadow Dash (Active): Shen dashes to a target location, dealing magic damage and taunting enemy champions he collides with. Shen gains 40 energy per enemy champion he collides with while dashing, and has 50% physical damage reduction from taunted targets.
Range: 600 (estimate)
Cost: 120 energy
Taunt Duration: 1.5 seconds
Cooldown: 10 / 9.5 / 9 / 8.5 / 8 seconds

Magic Damage: 50 / 85 / 120 / 155 / 190 (+0.5 per ability power)

Stand United (Active): Shen begins channeling for 3 seconds, immediately shielding an allied champion for up to 5 seconds or until it is destroyed. If the channel completes and the target is still alive, Shen teleports to the target's location.
No Cost
Range: Global
Cooldown: 180 / 150 / 120 seconds

Shield Strength: 250 / 550 / 850 (+1.35 per ability power)

NotesEdit Shadow Dash can allow you to dash through thin walls.
Interrupting Stand United's channel with crowd control, or killing its target before Shen teleports, cancels the ability and puts it on full cooldown. However, the shield will remain on target regardless.

Skill sequence

Throw your sword at the bigger minions to get health back. also use your sword to get last hits if the minion is out of reach. you can spam it cause you don't have any mana!!!
getting *W* 2nd allows you to be a little more aggressive during the early game as taunting an enemy can cause a first blood.

Items

when you are shen you want support items to help your team *Locket of the iron solari* is the best item to have because it puts a shield around my team members, sometimes i use my ulti then i use the item to give my team mate more of a chance to live. * Aegis of Legion * is very good too because it gives your teamates extra armor and magic resist.
get soul shroud to reduce CD's and such to help out your team!
i get sun firecape so you can get armor and lots of hp and still do damage with the effect
get ap because it helps you with feint and vorpal blade

Pros/Cons

Pros:

* you can be a little more aggressive early game and still me tanking.
* you not only tank but you also are supporting your team during fighting.
* the items such as Locket of the iron solari help at anytime during the battle making you a unbeatable member of the team.
* the summoner spells i have chosen are ones mainly for supporting your team throughout the hole game as they allow you to move quickly to places and to spot enemy's hiding in the bushes.
* AOE taunt. that makes him a great Tank!
* his passive can help you deal alot of damage when you have alot of hp
Cons:
* sometimes you may have Locket of the iron solari on CD so someone on your team may loose a life
* you maybe to aggressive early game costing you a death
* you can not tank against a team who is fed like crazy, as their damage will be too much for you to tank.
* could use Stand United late and ally dies in 2.5 second, you wont be able to teleport and end up with not joining in fight.

Team Fights

when there is a team fight I normally pile up their team up and use feint this will make them attack me and my team wont take alot of damage after taunt i use fient to reduce damage then use locket so my team gets a sheild. Use your ult to keep a teammate or carry from being killed.keep on using your taunt to keep them from doing damage to your team. and after the team fight if you did this your team should have enough hp to push and win

How to use *Q*

Early game: you use your q to last hit or you can hit a high hp minion and when you hit it this will heal you. if your teammate does not hit the siege minion or high hp minion tell them it give them hp regen and i bet they will be suprised. your q is sooo good it helps you lane stay and fight longer.

How to use *W*

*use this to block turret attacks
*after you use shadow dash you use w since you will aggro and will take damage
Back to Top

How to use *E*

*use shadow on troublesome enemys first because they will probably go for your carry first
*shadow dash can break channels like nunu's ult
*you casn use this to bring enemys that stealth like teemo eve twitch and shaco out of stealth
*you can shadow dash is a great skill to use if you need to flee away since it can teleport you over walls, brushes,
Back to Top

How to use *R*

*you can tell your teammates that you are going to use it on them so they can take advantage if the sheild and maybe get a kill
*you can save a teammate who is turret diving
*you can use this on stealth allies and it wont give their stpot away leading into a succesful gank
*People often forget about your ult so by using that info, you can try to push a lane while your team is in another lane. The other team will see a 5 vs 4 and they will try to take advantage of that or try to gank you. That way you can push a lane AND save/jump in the fight at any time and turn the chances.

tips and tricks

*if an enemy has a spell sheild you can use vorpal blade then taunt them
*Don't just jump in fights. Know the location of all the enemies and allies and know their skills Using a skill too early or too late can make a very big difference.

How to be a good tank/support

*a tank is the person engaging fights and take most hits and die if you are tanking right
risk your life to save your carry beause he is way more important than you because you a tank he a carry
*do not get too much tanky items this will make their team not attack you unless they are being taunted
Back to Top

Laneing

* do not go mid because you dont do alot of damage and you are meele so when you go mid you end up just feeding their carry and that is bad
Back to Top

map awareness

it is important to know where your allies and the enemy is at

You will be the one that keeps going from group fight to group fight to jump in fights, help out your allies and take the champions down (try avoiding kill stealing with this).
is really important to be aware of the map so you know where your allies and where their enemys are at
Back to Top

summoner spells

*ghost*extra move speed
*exhaust*slow down the enemy team from jungler or to reduce the damage of their carry
*heal* heal your team when your team is low
*clairvoyance*gives you and your allies a better veiw of the map (this can be used to counter jungle)
