With Ryze, if you want to Maximize Damage, you would want 5 archangels, 1 deathcap.
Or, boots + 4 AA, 1 Deathcap.
Even with Ryze's terrible AP ratios, you get better damage from 5 Archangel, 1 Deathcap than from 6 archangel.
Base AP 225
Arc Staff's bonus AP 2176 + 225 = 2201AP TOTAL!
So Overload (Q) = 130 base dmg + 20% of ap is 440 + 8% of max mana 1178 = 1748 DMG on Q
Rune Prison (W) = 200 base dmg + 60% of ap is 1320 + 5% of max mana 736 = 2256 DMG on W
Spell Flux (E) = 130 base dmg + 35% of ap is 770 = 900 DMG on E
u want TOTAL!? :D 4904 DMG NUKE BURST! so 50% aoe almost 2500 dmg isnt so bad :D
