Hello and welcome my build and guide on how I play the champion Nocturne. Too start out I'd like to say that Nocturne is one of my favorite champions because he is just so strong. He can literally 2 shot anyone except for tanks if he finishes his build.

I will try to focus on how to play Nocturne and all his runes, masteries, etc. Please remember this is my first real guide so some things may be out of place I guess.

NOTE: MOST OF THESE CHAPTERS ARE SUITED FOR JUNGLING I AM WORKING ON DOING LANING TOO!

Pros:
Amazing farmer
Strong Jungler
Epic damage output
One of the best ultimates in the game

Cons:
Pretty squishy
Easily able to shut down if you're not good with his spellshield
Sometimes with your ultimate the enemy will run in a bush and you can't cast it. :(

I like to go 21/0/9 for my build (Courtesy of Soronto) because it's probably best for him. I know some people that go like 9/0/21, or 20/0/10 or other odd masteries. I find these masteries as not enough damage output and just not as good.

With the masteries I use it is very good damage output and gives you almost everything you need.

I like to take armor penetration marks because they are basically THE runes to take for any AD champion. For seals you can get armor or flat health. I prefer to take armor for more survivability. If you take the armor seals get flat health quintessences. Lastly, for glyphs I just go attack speed because thats the only glyph that really suits him in my opinion.

For jungling him I start out with a cloth armor and five health potions as a typical jungler would. I clear the jungle all except for red buff and go back and pick up a long sword and a few health potions. I basically just jungle until I get madred's razors and at that point you just do the item build above. (Once he gets madred's razors he can just stay in jungle forever)

Remember to always gank when possible because he is one of the best gankers in the game.
