Item Build
I go with the Boots of Speed first & a health potion mainly because the BoS helps you escape just a tad bit better when your trapped early game. The health potion can be used after successfully escaping and then you can heal and still stay in your lane. I normally stay in my lane till I have enough gold to go back and buy Greaves mainly for the 25% AS & I believe they give more MS as well. Now, I don't really do a whole lot of ganking super early but in 3v3 its necessary to do so in the beginning. But, make sure you get either a Kill or the main thing, FIRST BLOOD. If you get that your set with Greaves early. However, moving on sorry about my ramble. Go for the Scepter afterwards so you have some life steal and you can lane longer, and maybe if you have enough gold grab 1 of the 2 daggers. Lane for a bit and stack up enough gold to finish creating your Malady and then go and do Money Dragon on 5v5 but, keep Lane Farming/Creeping as well, and on 3v3 go and do some creeping and don't attempt dragon until you are level 8+. By the time your ready to go back you should be able to buy the brawler gloves/dagger and get Zeal. After you complete Zeal you focus on your biggest weapon of all, Infinity Edge. Rush this item as quick as you can whether it means Creeping, Farming Lanes, Killing Enemies, do whatever it takes but make sure you get the BF Sword first at all times, so you have plenty of damage & crits do alot more. You should be able to get the pickaxe & cloak relatively quick so do not worry. After you obtain Infinity Edge go for a Blood Thirster, now the reason I chose this particular item was to have more life steal. It always pays off especially when your critting 500-800's and you gain alot of life back. (Sorry for this being so long) But after you are finished with making the first blood thirster, you remember that Zeal you created awhile ago? Turn that sucker into a Phantom Dancer. This will boost your crits even more and AS and I ain't sure if it does much else but still! After that is finished, repeat the step previous to Phantom Dancer which is getting another Blood Thirster. But, by the time you have gotten the Phantom Dancer your game should be pretty close to over if not, you know what to do! :)

Optional Items if you do not want a 2nd Blood Thirster
Madred's Bloodrazor
Frozen Mallet
Black Cleaver

Excellent Team Mates (By my own experiences)
I have played alongside Taric, Amumu, Nunu, Alistar, Rammus, and even Shen.
In my opinion these champ tanks are EXCELLENT partners for Yi in both 3v3/5v5.
Give it a shot.

The few useful tips I can give you is, be patient even though your going to have temptations to go in and gank, especially with no one around. Patience is key with this game as I have learned. But, one other thing I can honestly say is if you get killed once, get back into it and don't give up but most importantly don't let negative things your team mates may say due to your mistakes get to you. Just keep working on your skills with Yi. Trust me.

Skill Order - Team Fights
1. Wuju Style
2. Highlander
3. Alpha Strike (Quickly after using WS & HL)
Reasoning: My reasoning for this is mainly because in team fights, you don't have much time till you see which way the battle is going to go. It can quickly go the enemies way or your way. But, it don't take much for the tides to turn. So its best that you get in there with your Damage/Crits/As as fast as you can and do some killing.

Skill Order - Gank
1. Wuju Style
2. Alpha Strike (Quickly after using WS)
3. Highlander
Reasoning: My reasoning behind this is in a gank, you don't have to rush so much as you do in a team fight. If it's a simple one person baits and you jump in 2v2 battle, it isn't going to be that big of a deal unless if its early game but also the reason I save highlander for last is so that I can chase them if they get low on health and decide to run. :)

Well this is my first guide...hopefully it was a good one. I don't know how the voting will go but! I do know I use this build successfully alot in 3v3 and 5v5. Hope you guys have the same luck.

Also, anyone who would like to add something to the guide I will add it in when I notice it which I will check back every now and then :)! Thanks guys & gals!
