Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
MADE FOR 3v3! PLAY IN 5v5 AT YOUR OWN RISK!
This build is designed around fast hitting magic damage and survivability. The choice of runes amplifies your ability to hit hard, fast and most importantly, able to survive relatively easy with the use of kiting and spin hitting(running away and spinning around to hit your target). The latter is mainly done with the lizard buff as u have no real slows, next to your mushrooms of course.
Fast magic damage. (Pretty much AP/DPS)
Blind targets almost non-stop.
Minion Smasher. (Fast Early Game XP, also helps if playing heavy defense)
Targeted in team fights.
Low AP until late game.
Early Game lvls 1-8
Grab your starting item and health potion and head to bottom bush for gank unless your team says no. When minions spawn, try and start hitting the first wave of minions once each, to reduces their health and kill the minions faster than the enemy. If you are against a tank in your lane or any type of stun, just hang back and try not to get stunned. When you have enough to get your boots, grab them when you hit lvl 6 or have enough. From lvls 6 to 8 you should be working on your Malady and helping out your other lane.
Mid Game lvls 9-14
By now you should have gotten either a few kills yourself or a few assists. You should be finishing up your Nashor's if you haven't already. Next you start on your Gunblade. I try and keep away from the life gain fist and work on the revolver first, seeing how I am AP. Once you have the Cutlass part of it, you will hit slightly harder and improve your survivability while also gaining another ability for use in your combo. Q>4>AA Not much to it lol.
Late Game lvls 15-18
They should either have surrendered now or you are getting your pwnt faced. To be honest i have never gone beyond the gunblade. I got as far as getting the sapphire crystal for the arch staff, but we won.
All the games I have played with this build end in Victory. But the secret to this build is simple. Play smart, don't be one of those guys who just farm all game and run away from every team fight. Nor one of those who rush into a 1 vs 1 with the other 2 mia, you're just asking for a gank. But most importantly, your job is the CC, and your only 2 means of that are your Blind and your Slow(mushroom).
Sample Play Style
There was even a time i had less than 50 HP and was being chased by all 3 enemies, they fallowed me right into a shroom as my team was coming around the corner and they started wailing on them. But at the same time, I didn't just go b, I checked to make sure they weren't targeting me and then spun around and started blinding the enemy while attacking, when i saw there were trying to target me, I would make it look like i was running and as soon as they were attacking my other teammates, i turned back around and went in again. Their whole team died ad i was left with under 20 HP.
Edit: I forgot to mention the last 2 items. I put those in there cause that is how i want to finish the build, not start it. I only ever get as far as the mana crystal. They always concede and i never have a chance to get my tear of the goddess. Although the RoA would probably be more viable early game, i just feel it doesn't give the damage output that is key in early game dominance.
Please also not this build can easily be made AD/AS with a change in items. Its very versatile in its simplicity. The only way it is a **** build is when it is played by a **** player. Played right, you will get more concedes than nexus kills. But there is no "I" in team. You are not a lone wolf, farm when needed and have good map awareness(the mini map in the lower right of the screen inside the game). Being able to anticipate enemy movements is key with this build. If you don't, you'll end up getting ganked. Also be aware you take reduced damage, this doesn't mean you can tank, although you can take out heavy AD builds if kited and taunted right.
