Introduction

Hi All! My Name is Karuzelg. I've been playing League of Legends for about a 2 years now. Kayle was one of the first champions i decided to play and main. I have played her on every possible role and i tried probably every possible way to build her. I wish you will love her and enjoy playing by my way.

NOTE! This tutorial will keep being developed and it is not the final version. Come here regularly for the latest updates

Pros / Cons

PROS

+ One of the fastest jungle clear
+ Icredible DPS
+ AoE Dmg is Great for Teamfights
+ Gamechanging ult
+ Excellent skill set
+ Great sustain
Kayle have one of the fastest clear time due to her Righteous Fury. Your sustain with Divine Blessing and blue buff let you stay in jungle until you have enought gold for Wriggle's Lantern without any problems.

CONS

- Squishy
- Mana hungry early without blue buff
- Reralying on her stacks on Feral Flare
Kayle can be easily killed without her Intervention. Only source of armor and MR are Zhonya's Hourglass and Wit's End. You NEED blue buff. If you lose red buff it isn't that bad. If you lose blue buff you will have a really bad time in your jungle. And probably one of the most important thing in this kind of Kayle. Your main source of dmg is Feral Flare and its passive. Remember to stack it whenever you can. Without stacked FF you haven't that much On-Hit dmg and heal.

Feral Flare? Kayle? WHAT?!

Yes. It's may look strange, crazy or even mad, but actually it works. Kayle have great synergies with AS due to her Righteous Fury so Feral Flare and every item with AS and some kind of On-hit effect combine great with it. In this build you have a lot AS (in full build you will hit barier of 2.5) so every On-Hit effect works 2.5 times every second.
Try it before laughing, trust me.

Runes

MARKS

  • Greater Mark of Attack Speed (15.3% AS) - Probably the best choice. Boost our early and helps in late a lot.
  • greater mark of hybrid penetration (8.1 Armor pene/5.6 Magic pene) - Alternative choice if we want to deal as much damage as we can in late game. We have a little bit weaker early but a lot stronger late then with attack speed marks.

SEALS

GLYPHS

  • Greater Glyph of Ability Power (10.8 AP) - Great option if we want to dominate in early. In late give us almost nothing but on ~3 level it allow us to better dueling in enemy jungle. Take only for agressive playstyle.
  • Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist (27 MR at 18lvl) - It helps us in late game teamfights. If enemy jungler is someone like Elise and we want to go defensive better take flat version of these runes (12 MR).

QUINTS

  • Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed (13.5% AS) - Another runes that are useful throughout all the game. When combined with Marks we get 28.8% AS at the start of the game. This is exactly what we want
  • greater quintessence of hybrid penetration - Same situation as for the marks. But here is one very important thing. We can't change booth quints and marks for hybrid penetration. One of these need to boost our attack speed. Which one - your choose.

Masteries

offensive but getting some utility. Better for new On-Hit Kayle players.

Items

Item Sequence

Berserker's Greaves 1100
Feral Flare 1800
Runaan's Hurricane 2800
Blade of the Ruined King 3200
Trinity Force 3333
Guinsoo's Rageblade 3000

STANDARD ITEMS

Remeber, this is On-Hit build. All MR penetration we gain from our passive (15%), masteries (6%). It gives us very strong power boost thanks to next items.

Our core itemm. It has good base stats for it cost but it's true power is passive. Without any stacks it deals 100 magic dmg and heal us for 10hp. This value is increased by every stack getting by killing large monsters, getting champions kills and assists (1 stack =3dmg and 1 hp healed). For compare in standard ap build with Nashor's Tooth we need 566 AP to have the same amount of dmg on hit on mobs and 120 AP on champions. And we still talking about Feral Flare without any stacks! Of course Nashor's Tooth give us a lot fo great stats and it's GOD item on standard AP Kayle but in jungle we must rush Feral Flare.

After short break i back to this item. I absolutely love it. After FF we need as much AS as we can get. In almost every game i build this item as my third choice. And to be honest, it shouldn't be changed to anything.

This item provide us very good stats and just an excellent passive. Its combine very good with our AS. And dont forget about its active. It enchances our chese/escape mechnism.

TONS OF DMG! But seriously, its next item that raise our dmg. Its perfectly fit to our build. Its both passive give us everything that we can miss.
  • More MS? CHECK!
  • More AD and AP? CHECK!
  • Higher kite potential? CHECK!
  • Higher burst? CHECK!
JUST EVERYTHING!

Now we have great AS, great On-Hit effects, great active effect. So we need some flat stats. This item provide it completely. Stacks give us 32% AS and 32 AP. Another good thing here is its passive. When you fall below 50% HP you get 20% AS, 10% lifesteal and spellvamp. Great to fill some missing stats.
Fully stacked and with activated passive it give us following stats:
  • 72 AP
  • 30 AD
  • 52% AS
  • 10% lifesteal
  • 10% spellvamp

ALTERNATIVE ITEMS

I started to change Trinity Force for Hextech Gunblade recently and i must say its amazing. It give us good flat stats, good sustain and nice active effect. With our insane AS cooldown of this item almost not exist (we need less then 9 seconds of attacking enemy champion) so use it every time its possible. With this item we can slow enemy for 5 seconds (2 from Hextech Gunblade [40%] and 3 from Reckoning [55%]). It give us less burst power then Trinity, but boost our other stats insanely. Remember to take Berserker's Greaves - Furor because we lose it from our Trinity.

Another item that give us everything that we need. AS, On-Hit effect, MR and some. flat MR reduction. Good if enemy team have fed APC. Nothing more to say about it.

In very late game we can replace boots with it. But if you replace Trinity Force before it better consider. Without this two item you lose furor passive, but if you feel you don't need it, replace it no matter what.

Even on ON-Hit Kayle this item is good. If we are not convinced about Trinity Force we can take Rabadon's Deathcap for last item. But there is one important thing about replacing Trinity Force. We MUST take Berserker's Greaves - Furor. Furor its really important thing in this build, but if you feel u can handle without it you still can take Zephyr.

Good alternative for Trinity Force. We will take it if we need more armor and enemy focus us on teamfights a lot.

At the beginning of this guide I placed this item on the list of necessary. Now I see I was bad. Guinsoo's Rageblade performs a lot better, but if you bought the item that provides a lot of AP (like Rabadon's Deathcap or Zhonya's Hourglass) passive of Nashor's Tooth can be effective again. But like i said, only if we have some ap bought earlier.

POST YOUR SUGGESTIONS ABOUT ALTERNATIVE ITEMS! :)

We want to take point ultiamte whenever its possible. Then we maxing our Righteous Fury for greater dps. Then we can max Reckoning or Divine Blessing. "Q" for even greater dps and better slow, "W" for sawing our teammates ***es, better jungle sustain and haste. Feel free to combine if needed. If u dont want to gank at third level u can go E->W->E->Q. Its make cleaning jungle faster. You can go E->Q for quick counter jungle at second level after your first buff.
