Made this guide so people gets an idea on how to build liss. This build has worked out for me so far. Changes might come later, but this is it for now atleast.

Ignite and flash creates a good synergy. Ignite helps you get those last hitpoints needed for the kill, while flash helps you to do quick escapes aswell as securing the kill.

Magic resist to reduce damage from your opponent midlane. Armor if you should be so unlucky to be caught by the jungler, and for lategame close-combat. AP-quints so you'll actually be able to harass and get some minions.

A pretty standard well balanced tree. Synergizes well with runes and itembuild. Lissandra needs hp and armor since she's pretty much a close-combat caster due to reduced range on her basic and her w.

Early game

Liss aint the strongest champion through the early parts of the game. Before level 6 and your core build you should just focus on getting the best cs possible. Just make sure you hit the enemy with Q everytime you use it.

If your jungler give you a heads up and comes early, make sure that your W is not on cooldown.



Midgame

Some of the fun begins here. Lissandra is an extremely strong AoE-Champion and can give the team a hughe advantage with her R and W when it comes to roaming and teamclashes. You should start roaming when you see the opportunity for a gank. Your teammates will thank you as you save the day.




Lategame

You should be on constant lookout for someone out of position where you can initiate with your claw -> root -> shard.

When you are about to do a teamfight, you should not be the one to engage. Wait a few seconds until all are gathered and go in with your rqew combo.

Remember

Keep wards in your backpack at all times. Liss is a strong farmer mid/lategame and you have no excuses to not buy them. If you want to win games, mapcontrol through wards are one of the keys to that.

The adc or the one that's fed out of this world is your main priority. I've seen lost teamfights too many times because of wrong focus!

Pick up blue as early and whenever you can, CRY FOR IT! Liss got extremely high cooldowns, Make sure to get them down.
