Aatrox is a hard champion to lane against and there is barely anyway to beat him. When he dives onto you wait until he hits before jumping away.
Akali
Akali is a difficult champion to lane against. Scare her away from her farm early and get ahead with farm and you should be alright.
When she is in her invisible bubble stay clear and toss boomerangs inside, if you get a hit try and jump where it hit to get your 2nd w ring.
Cho'Gath
Its an even match with Cho'Gath. Common sense not to fight with low health. Wait for him to use his knockup before jumping other wise u have no escape.
Darius
Darius is a very easy champ to lane against. Save your jump for his pull and just kite when he is chasing you.
BEWARE HIS RAGE!!
Dr. Mundo
Mundo is practically the main person you counter. Easy pick off with your cheeky poke and high w burst damage
Ekko
Ekko is hard to lane against. If you can dodge his combo and use your kit right you should be able to pull off a kill.
Fiora
Fiora is even against you. Punish her when her q is on cooldown and throw your boomerang when she dashes at you.
Gangplank
Gangplank is a very easy person to lane against. Your range is big enough to break his barrels and he your e is enough mobility to get out of them.
Garen
Garen is easy to verse. Kiting him is the key for fighting him. Scare him away from his farm by throwing your boomerang when he is farming.
Gnar
Its all about who get mega gnar first. But ask for a lane switch anyway.
Hecarim
Hecarim is an even match with Gnar. Save your e for his ult. He is melee so throw your boomerang when he is farming.
Illaoi
Illaoi is very easy to verse. Your e is good for dodging her tentacles. and her ult. She has no mobility so you can kite her easily.
Irelia
Irelia is difficult but not hard to counter. She can burst you really quick if you dont time your jump perfectly. Avoid fighting her in mini gnar.
Jax
Jax is difficult to verse. His mobility is great and burst damage is insane. It would be smart to build armour against him but if your ballsy then build a bork.
Jayce
Jayce is easy to verse as you can dodge all of his abilties wiht your e. It is better to fight with mega gnar as he has no mobility but you can kite him easily with mini gnar.
Kayle
Hide. Run. Dont go near her. Just farm and do not initiate. Only if your mega gnar can u intiate.
Kennen
Kennen is easy to verse in lane but is impossible to catch. His mobility is crazy and so is his stuns. Do not initiate under tower. Just bully him out of lane.
Malphite
Malphite is very easy. Your w can chunk him down. Bork is essential.
Maokai
Maokai is easy to verse but hard to catch. His CC is insane. Just bully him out of lane and build Maw.
Master Yi
Yi is a very hard match. His speed makes it impossible to kite and his damage output is crazy even if your in mega gnar. Stay safe and farm.
Nasus
Versing Nasus is easy early game but late game you are stuffed. Go for the bully build on this as you can use your boomerang to keep him away from farm. You should be able to win trades early game.
Nunu & Willump
Nunu and Gnar are evenly matched. If the Nunu has good timing he will hit his ult everytime but, when you are close to the edge then jump. Wait for his q to be done. Then initiate in mega gnar.
Olaf
Olaf is a even match with Gnar as you can both throw to keep each other away. Waiting for Olafs ult to be down before invitation would be smart but if you think you can beat him you can win.
Pantheon
Pantheon is difficult to verse because of him early game damage outcome. Stay back and farm and try not to initiate on him unless you are 100% sure you can win.
Poppy
Poppy is very simple to verse. Save your e until she has knocked you back as she can charge you in mid air. Don't use your e while her w is active or you will be stunned. Which makes it hard to intitiate on her but you will win trades.
Renekton
Stay away. Very far away.
Riven
Riven is easy to verse. Kiting her is very simple and your damage does a lot against her.
Rumble
Rumble is a little bit of a challenge but not too much. You can kite him with your q and you can jump out of his ult. Farm up and build a Maw and you should be alright.
Singed
Singed is very easy to verse. Poke him down with your aa's and jump over him when he flips you.
Sion
Sion is extremely easy. Jump out of his smash down and just kite him.

Trundle
Trundle is pretty simple. His ult is pretty annoying and you should never initiate when his ult is up as he will shred you down very quickly. But you just kite him while he runs/chases and you should be good.
Tryndamere
Let's be honest. Trynd is hard against anyone. Simpily don't initiate under turret and when you are fighting make sure your rage is high or you are Mega then save your stuns and knock back for when he uses his ult so he can't run or chase.
Wukong
Wukong is simple. Jump out of his ult and kite him. Poke him out of lane so he is forced to use his dash, waste his mana, get him out of lane. You will be ahead of farm then you initiate.
Xin Zhao
Xin Zhao is very difficult to verse. Ask for a bank when you are mega Gnar and you should be able to kill him with your stun and knock back.
Yorick
Yorick is difficult to verse. His slows are not that much of a hassle and his red ghoul does a lot of damage to you. Stay away from him and farm up.
Zac
Very easy to verse. Kite him when he initiates. Your aa's are fast enough to take out his passive. Bully him away from his health blobs.
Yasuo
Yasuo is even with Gnar. You can get rid of his shield with your boomerang. You can get him out of lane quickly. He can initiate and follow up your e very easily.
Vladimir
Vlad is very easy. Jump out of his burst and kite and you should be good.

My Gnar Experience
My Gnar Experience
I've been playing Gnar since the middle of season 6 and I fell in love with him straight away. Being a Yordle fan I knew as soon as i saw this guy that he will be one of my mains.
Since then, minus my season 7 break, I've racked up 67k points on Gnar and a 64% win rate.
Did I mention he is cute af?
