Choose Champion Build:
- Tanky little Toilettepaper
- APT (Ability Power Tank)
Recommended Items
Spells:
Smite
Flash
Items
Ability Order
Cursed Touch (PASSIVE)
Amumu Passive Ability
Runes
Runes
This is the best Rune Option for Amumu in my Opinion. The Page combines Tank + Damage Stats and is very usefull for clearing the Jungle and fighting in early game.
Variation 1
Greater Mark of Attack Speed Runes are also viable.
InvisiblePro:
- You can AA (Auto Attack) faster for Cursed Touch
- Faster Jungle Clear
Invisible Con:
- Not one spell of you synergizes with Greater Mark of Attack Speed
- Not one Item with is in my build synergizes with Greater Mark of Attack Speed
Variation 2
For Amumu beginners i would recommend you too take Greater Quintessence of Health and Greater Mark of Armor for a safe early game
InvisiblePro:
- More Tankyness vs Jungle Mobs
- More Tankyness vs Champions
- smaller chance to die if someone invades you
InvisibleCon:
- Not one spell of you synergizes with Greater Mark of Attack Speed
- Not one Item with is in my build synergizes with Greater Mark of Attack Speed
Variation 3
Another option is to go for full Damage Runes. That means Greater Glyph of Ability Power instead of Greater Glyph of Magic Resist
InvisiblePro:
- Faster Jungle Clear
- Higher Damage by Ganks cause all your Spells synergize with Greater Glyph of Ability Power
InvisibleCon:
- Less Tankyness by Ganks
- Higher Chanche to die if you get invaded (especially for ap Jungle like Elise
Variation 4
The fourth Rune Page option is with Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction and Greater Quintessence of Cooldown Reduction for 10% CDR (Cooldown Reduction)
InvisiblePro:
- Curse of the Sad Mummy is up more often
- You can spamm your Spells more due to the 10% CDR
InvisibleCon:
- Less Tankyness by Ganks
- Higher Chanche to die if you get invaded
Tankmumu you need to go for
Strength of the Ages
, but you can Choose the Ferocity Tree second instead of the Cunning Tree
Cunning Tree is way better, but that depends on your playstyle. With the Cunning Tree you have faster clearspeed with Savagery , longer Buffs with Runic Affinity , more damage for early ganks with Merciless and GREAT sustain in team fights with Dangerous Game .

Pros
+ Extreamly tanky
+ Good DPS with his Passive im early Game, but still okay DMG in late Game
+ Huge CC (Corwd Controll)
+ Safe & Fast Jungle Clear
+ Good escape with his Bandage Toss
Cons
- Amumu depends on the Damage from his team
- Cant Carry Solo
- Missing your Bandage Toss = Gank is over
- Amumu is easy to counter jungle (Like Shaco or Lee Sin can catch you at your Blue Buff or anywhere else in your Jungle)

- Activate your Despair first. It deals a solid amount of damage for each second you are near your enemy
- Then use your Bandage Toss as a Gap Closer and for stunnig the enemy
- Try to hit an AA for reducing the Enemys Magic resistance with your Passive Cursed Touch
- After that you use your Curse of the Sad Mummy to stun the enemy in your Despair and Bami's Cinder
- Right after your Ultimate you cast your Tantrum to deal as much damage as possible

As you can see i use the Stalker's Blade for the Chilling Smite in my Item set.
With that Smite you steal 20% of the Enemys movementspeed for 2 seconds which allows you to stay near the Enemy until his End.
Usage:
After you hit Bandage Toss (and Curse of the Sad Mummy) Smite the enemy for the MS (Movementspeed) and chase him. Your Despair and Bami's Cinder will do the Damage. Also you can Cast your Tantrum if it is ready.
