Urgot Almost every player is trash with him, but he might kite you when your Q is on cooldown.

Yorick Trash. Wait for him to waste his mana and then engage. He is pretty tanky.

Introduction & Summary

Jax is a wonderful champion to play. Not only he is cheap, but he is easy and has crazy damage when played right. I personally played him somewhere 1500 times both in top lane and in jungle. This is my first guide ever, and it would be wonderful if you take your time and read my guide. I love for his passive, and his E W Q combo which stuns the enemy, does crazy damage, and closes the gap between you and the enemy. scales well with both AP and AD which is perfect for a hybrid build. So lets start. Please excuse me for the poor quality of the guide; I'm currently learning how to use Mobafire.

I am a Gold Jax player. I don't play on Master Yeed that much, (Because It was supposed to be my smurf, but after I got this many views I thought to continue this guide) My actual summoner name is Thetroutone
(Also, Totally forgot about this account xD gotta get dat lvl 7 jax
Updated Items
Riot literally destroyed Devourer. Well, we all knew it was coming, but I personally didn't know they would make it so ****. Now, the new Devourer is "blood Razer" - which gives you 40% AS. It's not so bad, but now early game with champs like or will not be as effective.

UPDATE 2.0: Trinity Force can now be bought before those items since it gives you 40% AS which is super effective.

Also, The VS CHAMPIONS is available only in the top build, so if you are using the jungle build just navigate to the top build

3 games I played with Jax: (Others were washed up by other champions)
NOTE: THESE ARE NOT THE ONLY GOOD GAMES I PLAYED WITH JAX.

JUNGLING & WARDING

Path: get help and smite ->Stone golems > red buff > raptors > blue buff (recall) > Gromp > Now you can do what ever you want. The first gank you can do is at level 3. For example, you finished 3 camps and you got level 3, and the enemy mid laner is low. What you can do? Gank and be sure to stun with E. Your goal isn't to kill. Aim for the kill, but that wont always work, so at least get their sums. Now since devourer was removed, you now don't have to sit in jungle for halve of the game, you can gank alot more often.

GANKING IS IMPORTANT - GANKING IS IMPORTANT - GANKING IS IMPORTANT - GANKING IS IMPORTANT

Warding
Warding is a key part of league of legends, and the way your team and you know how to not get a random SUTT BEX. Yes, you read that wrong. The diagram below shows how to wards.

Runes

I like to take full AS runes and run mr and armor and maybe some dmg runes. It depends on your play style. You could even take AP runes, but I do not recommend it. (AP scales with your abilities so you will have a stronger early game.)
Runes I take:
