Why not go Attackpeed or AD/LVL on Quints. Wouldn't it scale better.

Hi there

I'm here cause 2 attack speed items Jhin was quite Intriguing.

And as Usual I took a look at Item cheat sheet on the top of the guide, and then to Pros/Cons.

But I stopped here cause I feel like you don't understand what Jhin's kit is made of.

I don't wanna write hundred lines of explanations, because it would be boring to read. But most of what you said in your Pros/Cons are sooo inaccurate.

You actually didn't mention the two most important things, and then mentioned things I'd personaly consider wrong.

Here are the most shortened explanations I can give you.

First, you forgot to mention the most basic things about Jhin : Insanely high range of action and No way to increase Attack speed apart from Natural growth

And then here are things I'd consider innapropriate for Jhin's pros/cons :

Excellent scaling
Game changing ultimate

Jhin's scaling is not that good. You just have to take a look at the most built item on him to understand it. According to League of Graph, 59.9% of Jhin's core builds contain Yumou and/or Duskblade which are items you actually pick on ADCs with poor scaling late.

Even if his ultimate is VERY strong it's far from being a game changing ultimate. MF's Ult is a game Chanigng Ultimate. The difference between these 2 is that MF doesn't require ennemies to be in a perfect position du kill carries. She will flood ennemies with tons of damages while they most of the time can't cancel it. Jhin's Ult is good for teamfighting but can't win a fight by itself. If it does, then it's thanks to your team, not thanks to your ult.

No Mobility
Requires alot of Peel
Medium-Weak self peel
Unique playing Style/Laning Phase

No Mobility ? Jhin has a movement speed buff on EVERY crit. It's far from No Mobility. Ashe has no Mobility. Varus has no Mobility. Kog has no mobility. Jhin has decent Mobility. Even more you build 3 Crit items and 2 of them are attack speed items. I'd say that you'll almost always proc your passiv and thus have the highest movment speed of all ADCs.

Requires a lot of peel. I mostly think that you need peel when you're in a bad position, or when ennemy team has lots of divers. Most of the time it's about position. So basicly you don't need a lot of peel, you need to position properly. And this is a thing you'll have to do whatever ADC you play.

Medium-Weak self peel. Medium ok. Weak ? You have a natural Movment speed buff on Crit. You have a huge slow on your E. You have a snare + movment speed buff on W. That's far from having weak self-peel. Most of ADCs are only able to reposition themselves, while Jhin is able to repostion AND control opponents.

Having a unique play style is not a bad Thing. It's just the same thing as "Hard to get used to/Master". Jhin's Laning phase is different. It has good sides, bad sides. A bad one is that his reload time makes him hard to get use to.

Ok I hope you've get what I meant here. Maybe you should learn more about this Champion. Take time to read carefuly each component of each spells, and try to figure out how Jhin tries to control the game.

Thank you for taking time and leaving a "feedback", It really means alot to me.

On most things you wrote here I can agree with.
I have edited the guide in which I thought I am wrong or is better.

Okay now on the the main event.
I made and use this build because I always theroycraft on most of champions and since 95% of guides for Jhin include yomu and duskblade I didn't want to use it.

Like I said in introduction, my own experimental guide which works perfectly.
It has diffrent gameplay then the other Jhin builds and does pretty decent damage.

Like I named the build "Need for Speed" which means this build is mostly based on that amazing Movement Speed Buff from Whisper

The reason I have said it has Game changing ultimate because of it's high range and insane damage for eg. if you are fighting on midlane or some parts of jungle you can take time, cast the ultimate and engage teamfight without being near, it has very good engage.

If there is anything else, please leave a feedback I really appreciate it, noone knows everything so even me from high tier take advices. I have wrote this guide and haven't thought some things throught like these.

If you wish to discuss more we can talk in PM or else.

Thanks.

Hi there o/

Here is a link which could interest you : http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/making-a-guide-101506 It's a guide dealing with advanced coding, making your guide looking fancier.

And I think you could actually add a Pro/Cons section related to your build compared to classic Jhin builds. For example : better late game damages / mobility, etc. But les mobility / damages early

+

I have few questions about some of your choice tho.

I noticed you put Phantom Dancer before Rapidfire canon.

I'd actually personnaly prefer Rapidfire early. And I feel like Phantom is more a mid-late game item.

You also picked celerity boots. But I'm pretty uncomfortable with this boots giving a very few extra amount of Movment Speed. This item has been nerfed to its original concept : countering slow champs.

Berseker Greeves are only 10 movment speed less, and 25% attack speed more. Which somehow better suit your design (with 2 attack speed item). It's something like 12% movment speed on his passiv, whic is way more profitable than flat 10.

Last thing about lifesteal item.

You could put a bit more explanations about your choice here. You actually mostly go for Mercurial. I'd actually say that Mercurial is core on Vayne and Draven only. While Jhin isn't so weak to CCs.

+ You didn't mention BT in your Cheat Sheet. I somehow understand why, but it may lack a bit of explanation somewhere.

+ There's nothing about Boot Choice in Cheat Sheet. Probably because you think that Celerity is a 100% on Jhin. But in fact, boot choice on Jhin can be really tough

That's all for today. I wish try it. I just need to play him or something, but I'm not in a Jhin mood for ranked ^^'
