I have tried this build, and found that it has one big flaw. It was not working quite well for me because the time it takes for me to get "malady" and "wits end" early in the game is very long. I was stuck with only "berserker greaves" for like five levels, and during that time the opponents were buying new items and farming better.

When I played against AI, this build worked quite well for me. I didn't need to worry about the money for "malady" and "wits end" because the enemy was stupid. However, despite the effectiveness of this build against the AI, I encountered another problem: Kayle's movement speed. There were two instances where I hit the enemy, got his HP down to one bar, slowed him, and he still managed to get away. But then again, maybe its my lack of skill. The game ended with 13/1/1

Maybe its because I didn't buy the necessary runes and upgrade my masteries, because my account is only level 9. But if anybody can provide a solution to Kayle's movement speed and time/money, then I would be grateful

Between reckoning's slow and diving blessing's move speed, you shouldn't have to worry about movement speed that often.

I love your guide and have tested it, it works well +1.

But i wonder, wouldn't it be better to either choose wit's end or malady(depending if you need MR or not) and take black clever after the first instead of the other. otherwise you deals mainly magic damage before frozen mallet and therefore can be easily countered by MR early-mid game( the magic on hit damage is larger then your AD damage when Righteous Fury is activated). black clever is practically the same as malady but with physical damage and armor red instead, working well with your passive.

i also wonder if there is another item just like wits end but with armor and attack dmg instead? in case you face heavy ad but don't want to loose any damage.

I'm very curious about your thoughts about this ^^

Having the enemy counter you by stacking magic resist leaves your ad carry and even your ad jungler against that much less armor, and your passive cuts that by 15%. And if they just counter your jungler and ranged ad their magic resistance will be a lot less. I let another teammate grab The Black Cleaver (usually the ranged ad), I'll just make sure they don't get away with the frozen mallet slowing them.

Wow, this must be one of the best Kayle guides ever. Not only is the guide comprehensive, the build itself rules. I tried both support and AP Kayle where support usually failed miserably and AP hybrid Kayle where'd I'd max W and E first taking Q just a point would give me mixed results, I'd be useful but never much kills, mostly assists.

But this build, WOW. With proper use of my W and R, I manage in taking down AP mages 2 levels above me or dominate the top lane against champs like Nautilus or Udyr. This IS the best build and I give it thumbs up :)

Also another note you might want to add is warding, I buy ward or 2 whenever I can and it really helps escape those 2v1 moments :)

This is a lot like how i build kayle. At least the start. The start is amazing. Early game you deal ridiculous damage. However i find it starts to peter away late game as they start getting tankier. You still deal massive damage but it just isn't "ZoMG so much damage" like her early game. I tend to get a black cleaver, infinity, and a phantom dancer after my wit's end. I've tried this build and it does work very well, but i find i do better the way I described. I'm not trying to start an argument over which way is better I'm just giving my two cents. Although the madred's would be a better choice than a black cleaver if your ad carry has one already. And a frozen mallet instead of infinity edge gives you that passive and some sustain but really the damage output from infinity is more useful I find.

Thank you Miss Maw, CasterMaster and Arcana3 for the sweet sigs. I'd definitely recommend you to anyone looking for a nice sig.

Must say, awesome guide, I had to tweak the build a bit since I was going jungle but after building Mandred's Razor I continued according to the guide and came out top :D
