Mordekaiser Passive Ability
Introduction
With the amount of success I have had with this build lately I wanted to share this guide with others and therefore aimed at elaborating a bit on the guide.
Aim
This guide aims to give a simple general build for mordekaiser which should help you succeed in any situation. It will not be an indepth guide to mordekaiser but rather a general item build. I have chosen to make this guide as simple and lightweight as possible (5000 letters, elsewise this guide would not be counted as a finished guide)...
WHY MORDEKAISER?
Mordekaiser is a melee bruiser, with the ability of being a badass in a heavy tank train, and being able to run into the enemy lines without the biggest concern. This makes mordekaiser, my favorite choice when it comes to survivability and damage all packed in 1 brilliant package of awesomeness !
In the following i will be listing Mordekaiser's abilities and what they should be used for. I won't go to indepth but rather give a short explanation of each ability.
This is your passive ability. It takes 35% of the damage that is dealt through abilities and converts it into a shield that protects you from all incomming damage. The shield can absorb a maximum of 630 points of damage at level 18.
You will want to try and keep your shield up all the time to absorb harrassment from other champions and as a escape buffer from incomming gank attempts.
This is your secondary ability in the sense that it will not be your primary damage attack. When the ability is activated the next hit will hit the target and up to 3 additional targets with 200 ( +1 per bonus attack damage) (+40% ability power) of magic damage at level 18. Or if the target is alone it will increased damage to that target.
Although powerful, this ability is not as effective as your Siphon of Destruction as it doesn't charge your shield as much. That being said it can be handy for chasing down a target with low hp incase your Siphon is still on cooldown. If the target is close to a group of minions you can use Mace of Spades to jump from a minion close to you to the target and thereby bringing down your target.
This is your farming tool/secondary shield. Creeping Death Sourrounds Mordekaiser with a protective cloud that gives you 30 magic and armor resistance while also damaging targets in the cloud for 80 (+20% ability power) for 6 seconds at level 18.
This ability will help you tank incomming damage as it increases your resistances and thereby effectively increasing your Iron Man shield.
Creeping Death Also works well as a farming ability as it deals continous damage to targets in the cloud, which together with your Siphon of Destruction lets you farm minions quite rapidly.
Share the love
Don't be afraid to share your Creeping Death with squishy allies as it could save their life in a sticky situation.
This ability is Mordekaiser's bread and butter. While playing Mordekaiser you should be using Siphon of Destruction to harrass enemies, last-hit minions and charge your Iron Man shield.
