Greetings and welcome to my first-ever champion guide!

Your whole goal with Talon is to go in, eat a face or two and get the hell out! Once the enemy knows you're there, they're going to focus you ASAP so be sure to take a few of them out and run.

Pro's:
-Excellent burst
-Powerful mid and late game
-Crits like a champ!
-Not very mana hungry

Con's:
-Squishy early game
-Things go bad if you're focused
-Very item dependent

Alright, the runes. Most of you are probably complaining because of the defensive runes I'm using. But what you don't realize is that it helps Talon immensely early game which is where he generally lacks! Let me give you a brief explanation of each rune I use:

Greater Mark of Desolation x9

Armor Penetration. 'Nuff said. Allows you to cut through enemies and since all your skills are AD, it syncs perfectly with them.

Greater Seal of Armor x9

Helps SSOOOOOO much early game. Making you be able to take hits like a BOSS. Lane sustain!

Greater Glyph of Magic Resist x9

^See above.

Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage x2

Flat damage. Helps all of your skills and auto-attack. That little extra boost to get you First Blood.

Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed x1

Oh so speeeedy! Makes getting in and out of fights much easier in both early and late game.

Basic 21-0-9

Grab all the base damage stuff and whatnot. Greed for the extra gold hehe...

Alright, here is where this guide becomes useful!

The design for this item setup is to get you ready for mid-late game destruction! As long as you farm well and get a steady line of kills/assists you should be good to go!

And with that, here's an explanation for the core lineup:

Doran's Shield
Helps with lane sustain and survivability!

Philosopher's Stone
Same as above, but solves all mana problems, as well! (if you're smart with it)
Also, a nice gold per 10.

Avarice Blade
Crit chance! Makes your Q hurt a LOT more!
Also, a nice gold per 10.

B. F. Sword
At this point, you're going to need some actual damage...from your Best Friend.
Don't forget your basic boots!

Phage
Gives a bit of damage, some health, and that awesome slow that activates your passive.

Ionian Boots of Lucidity
Talon is a skill-reliant champ, so the more you have them, the better off you'll be!

Trinity Force
Best. Item. Ever.
Zeal = crit chance and movespeed
Sheen = double damage on ability use? lulwut? Craziness!
Phage = ALREADY EXPLAINED

Bloodthirster
Time to upgrade your Best Friend into a ravenous, hungering, blood-thirsting machine!
After you farm this, it allows you to farm minions and champions even faster!

Youmuu's Ghostblade
More Armor Penetration! Gives a flat penetration which helps against everything but tanky people. Crit chance thrown in there for giggles.
Also, the active on this is insane when taking down towers!

Infinity Edge
More crit! More damage! MORE WIN!

Last Whisper
Remember when I said everything but tanky people? This allows you to kill those, too.
