Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
The items i have decided to use in this build will help sustain your lane if you are solo top, and excel in team fights. An early Ionian Boots of Lucidity will give you the extra movement speed to chase down stray foes, spam your moves easier, or to escape unwanted demise. Getting Brutalizer then Youmuu's Ghostblade early will help shred through the opponents armor, which will win you the fight, in no time. Frozen Mallet can not only help you secure the kill with your slows, but also give you the extra health you need to survive and thrive in fights. Bloodthirster for a great boost in damage, since Renekton is very good at killing creeps, you can get the Bloodthirster stacks very quickly, which will also give you a lot of lifesteal and damage that you can use to destroy the opposition. Sunfire Cap for the armor and health, and the Unique Passive which works very well with Renekton's ultimate - Dominus. Maw of Malmortious will help in fights as well, giving you some extra resistance to Magic Damage and in turn, will also raise the damage you deal.
The Skill Sequence I have chosen to use, will greatly increase the damage on your Q which help you sustain your lane longest because once you reach 50% or higher in Fury, you deal bonus damage and get an added effect to your Cull the Meek. Which give a lot of Lifesteal as well. Getting your Slice and Dice and Ruthless Predator maxed later, so that they will deal a good amount of damage if you can land all your moves on the same target. Dominus is great in team fights, because it deals over time damage to all enemies nearby. Your ultimate and Sunfire Cape will make a great combo and can be a game changer in team fights.
For Summoner Spells, i usually rely on Exhaust and Ignite, with my style of play. I am usually the more aggressive type, so I like to run things that can bring down an enemy. However, if you need to switch out spells for different situations, feel free to do that too. A few alternatives if you would like to play safe, would be Ghost or Flash. You can also use heal if you want to be able to survive fights or stay in your lane longer.
Renekton is one of the best farmers in the game. Being able to take down several creeps in a matter of seconds. Combining Slice and Dice and Cull the Meek can get a good number of creeps and boost your money by a lot.
A few tactics I recommend in team fights would be to try and help your AD Range as much as possible. Because enemies will most likely focus them, try using your Ruthless Predator to stun the enemy going after the adc. And try to bring them down as fast as possible. Don't worry, He'll thank you later.
