Introduction

Hey guys, I'm ChaosNinjaZ and this is my first LoL guide! I've recently started playing Ezreal and this is a build that I've had great success with. I play Ez as a ranged AD carry, focusing on Attack Damage, Armor Penetration, and Cooldown Reduction.

Runes

I like to take Armor Pen reds, Mana Regen per second yellows, Cooldown Reduction Blues, and Flat Health Quints.

The early boosts in Armor Pen, Mana Regen, and CDR make you mad harrass early, you can use your abilities often and they do considerable damage.

The flat health gives you a bit more survivability in lane, and any additional time you can get in lane is more time to dominate your opponent.

Masteries

I use a 23-6-1 mastery tree. I like to take both the Armor Pen and Magic Pen masteries all the way up to Havoc in Offense. Armor and Magic Resist in Defense give you a bit more survivability and can help you out early. The last point goes into improved ghost.

Items

When the game starts, I grab a Doran's Blade and trot down to mid lane. I usually /dance and watch Ezreal's epic dance for a few seconds.

On my first trip back, I try to grab another Doran's Blade and some Boots.

I loveeee to go Double Dorans on Ezreal. Again, it adds to your early game survivability, and if you can stay in lane and not die, you will be able to farm and get kills.

I usually pack teleport so I don't fall behind in levels if I've been out-harrassed (which is hard to do against Ez)

Next trip I usually have my ult or am close to it, so I grab The Brutalizer for some decent AD and good Cooldown Reduction. I then start on my Manamune unless I have enough to grab advanced boots.

I like boots of Lucidity personally, because I hate to rely on Blue Buff to get CDR, and I don't want to sacrifice the masteries for longer buff length. If you worry about your movement speed, grab boots of swiftness instead.

After I get Manamune and my advanced boots, I go for a Bloodthister, which makes you hurt... A lot.

If they haven't surrendered already, you can take Infinity's Edge next and then finish your Ghostblade.

Skill Sequence

AD Ezreal is built around his Q ability, I like to max it first, taking a point in Essence Flux at 4 for some extra small damage (some guides wait to take it entirely, but I think it is a low-damage spam ability to hit enemies a little bit more. I hate to have people get away with 30 HP)

His Ultimate is AMAZING! Keep an eye on top and bottom lanes and snipe when you feel it is necessary. His Ult can turn the tide in team fights, ripping apart the entire enemy team if you can wait for them to bunch up a little bit.

Summoner Spells

I like to run Teleport and Ghost.

Teleport allows you to blue pill when you need it and still get back to lane without too much problem, and it can help gank lanes if your team places wards or Teemo shrooms.

Ghost is good for escaping or chasing opponents.

I've seen people run flash on Ez too, but with his built-in flash, I never saw too much point in it.

This is purely based on what you like to do and how you play.

Summary

With my build, you'll be able to harass like crazy and hit pretty hard as well. Your Ult will be up constantly and your team will love you for it!

Hope you enjoy my build, and I hope you have as much success as I've had with it xD
