Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Okay so most of you know Ezreal and most of you realise that all of his shots are "skill shots" this means that to get really good with him you have to spend alot of time using him I wish that I could give you some helpful tips with skillshotting but IMO the best way for you guys to get used to Ezreals skill shots is to:
A) watch some you tube videos
B) play him for a few games
Pros / Cons
- Can easily check bushes Essence Flux/ Mystic Shot
- Global Ultimate Trueshot Barrage
- "Built in Flash"/Escape Artist Arcane Shift
- Definately one of the more enjoyable champions to play
- Squishie Char Ezreal
- Requires a moderate level of teamwork (communication)
- His only debuff is a Attack speed debuff Essence Flux
- All his Abilities are skill shots Mystic Shot Essence Flux Arcane Shift Trueshot Barrage
- Is often hard for players to get used if they play champs who do not utilise skill shots
Team work, Ezreal is one of those champions that requires good team work to utilise his full potential with a good team, Ezreal will be told if there is a low life champion who is getting away (A good Ezreal if he is not in team fights will be watching the fight so that he can get a line up for his ultimate to prevent low life enemies from escaping ***I do not use my ultimate to ks if i do not have a stackable item Mejai's Soulstealer Sword of the Occult ***) It is very important to buff allies with Essence Flux Essence Flux As this often has a big impact on the outcome of team fights *Try to hit as many allies and enemies as possible* Essence Flux is a great skill in team fights as it buffs allies attack speed and also slows enemies attack speed.
Okay so just to explain the items the reason that i buy Doran's Blade first is that Ezreal with these masteries and runes is quite squishie to start with so the extra HP (Hitpoints) is really nice secondly i like the AD (Attack Damage) on it as it allows for a harder hitting "Q" Mystic Shot and thirdly just to put the icing on the cake the lifesteal allows you to stay in the lane for longer allowing for less XP loss and also for more gold gain.
I personally enjoy the Boots of swiftness because Ezreal is one of the slower champions so these boots allow you to make hit and runs in a much safer manner, I also prefer these boots over Berserker Boots as Ezreal even on AD isnt really the type of champion that you want to be in the thick of the fight using auto attacks.
Ezreal is a champion that has the potential to out farm any other champion because of Mystic Shot mwhenever i am in a solo lane with AD Ezreal i prefer to stand back and just use mystic shot to farm minions once you get used to the amount of damage that it deals it makes farming minions so much easier and because you are using Mystic Shot to farm minions it makes it very hard for the emnemy to harass you and once they do start to try all you have to do is hit them with Mystic Shot a couple of times and they tend to leave you alone xD.
When I am in a Duo lane with another player I do not use my Mystic Shot to farm minions instead I prefer to harass the enemies with it as it will easily deal a bar of life if not more mand during the lower lvls this can be quite a devastating skill mto be used in a harassing manner.
