Picking Kat in general against teemo is a death wish. If you try to poke him, you'll have to run at some point, and he has a higher dps than you, especially early game, so if you try to poke him, your health bar might be half empty already. Ask your mid laner to switch lanes with you. Chances are you'll have a much better time. Otherwise, you should be roaming mid lots. Try to rush hexdrinker in this matchup. Just one small tip, you could shunpo to teemo's shroom as he places it and you wouldn't pop it. If you aa then shunpo the shroom then you could kill it, although you might get killed in the process.

Pros and Cons

AD Kat has much better wave clear with hydra, and since you're AD, you could also split-push. You also benefit from both Armor and Magic Pen. Armor Pen makes your auto-attacks stronger, and Magic Pen makes your spells stronger, meaning you still buy Sorcerer's Shoes. You have strong auto-attacks for finishing off kills after your combo, while in the same situation, AP Kat could only run.
basically AD Kat is amazing
As Kat, you would usually still be very squishy, and CC still counters you pretty hard, even though you don't rely on your ulti AS much. Also, magic resist still counters you, and besides the Magic Pen boots, every other source of Magic Pen has at least some AP in it. AD Kat is still not popular and viable at all, and if you feed, you will likely be salted upon. Unless you're doing well or playing with friends, be sure to type /mute all as soon as you give first blood.

Masteries

When I first played AD Kat, I took attack speed masteries. Imo, both cdr and attack speed work for AD Kat, as far as laning goes. If you're playing safe or poking a lot, take cdr. If you're going to zone your opponent out or bullying him, take attack speed.

Runes

For runes I recommend mana regen Reds, mana Yellows, mana blues, and energy regen quints for a full brick cannon build. The quints help you stay in battle without having to go back and rest of the runes call for more spells.

Items

Early game, you want to rush a brutalizer for stats and to build into ghostblade. CDR doesn't really matter for kat, since you'll be getting resets and W, your main attack, isn't affected much from CDR. CDR could be useful early game though, which is why you take it for masteries. Then, immediately get a hydra.

if you buy triforce.......FIRST OF ALL ur damage isnt based on autos u idiot its based off your ult w and hydra and your autos are your LAST RESORT.
