For this build, laning at top lane is what you want to go for but bot lane with support is ok too. For his early game, you need a decent one because as you move in the mid game, you will need to have the I.E finished or at least the B.F and pickaxe finished. Kennen main source of damage is the electrical surge passive( every 5th attack, kennen will deal extra damage in a form of magic damage equal to 40/50/60/70/80% of your total Ad) and attack speed is needed for a constant use of the passive. Now to finish off, AD kennen with this build will be a Hyper carry when moved into mid and late game.

As your Laning, you want to harass your opponent but at the same time cs, the most effective way to to so is, Get your passive Electrical Surge ready, Attack then quickly into a shuriken and stun with the active electrical surge. doing so will most likely force your opponent to back off. If there is not opening for shuriken, then modification to this combo by starting off with shuriken and then basic attack.

what your want to do is go for the double doran but if you go into trouble, a wriggle is a good option. You get a ward for 1 minute to watch for ganks and also important stats needed for AD Kennen(Armor,Lifesteal). Before the Blood Thrister, you only have 9% Lifesteal which means you will take less time to regen your health off minions and risk using your health. An alliterative to wriggle is to replace 1 dancer for an Blood Thrister or last whisper Because Thornmail will be a small problem if your don't have lifesteal which can delay your killing blow or you may be killed. frozen heart WON'T be a problem to you because 1.4 attack speed is already enough to destroy the enemy team but using 2 would place your attack speed at 2.0 and move your crit chance to 85%.

Now in team fights, you are the team AD carry or the Backup Carry so your position is Key to your team success. Now as AP kennen, you would run into the middle, ulti and hourglass but as AD kennen you need to be more safe and using ulting while behind your tank will get you into range for the stun that the your team might need and in range for there Ad carry. Now the support may also have a special role with 1 item, will of the Anicents. Even though your AD, your ulti will still deal Decent Amount of damage(85/145/210)

Pro:
1. It's not normal to see AD Kennen
2. Stacking armor will only reduce your attack by a little
3. your can stun the entire team
4. you don't have to build armor or magic resist since your rush gives you 50 Armor and MR at lvl 18
Con:
1. Your may force the enemy team to build Thornmail and Frozenheart which will cripple your AD carry at bot
2.Your Jungler might not be an true tank or offtank
3. you can exhaust your team since you are a second form of massive damage and you can take all the kills from your teammate.
