My first build, as this is currently the only thing I do unique enough that I thought it should warrant one.

I don't want anybody whining or chastising me, saying I'm playing Lux wrong and that I'm supposed to AP nuke her. This is MY build, this is how I play her, you don't have to; I just thought I'd share.

The point of this build when I tried it was to take advantage of her passive and build on it. It helps that its easy to hit with her Q, which i always use to start the combo. I find this is very effective in the laning phase, and in initiating (if your team wants to back you up, ******** solo queue) as well as chasing.

I know my runes look wonky, but I honestly haven't thought about them too much, as I don't have the IP to buy a bunch at once and so this here just represents what I've managed to compile over time. Truth be told I'm still using a bunch of tier two runes and even a few tier one whilst I save up for tier three.

Clarity and Flash are just what I use to fit my play style, feel free to take whatever you want there.

I put one point right away into Light Binding and then don't touch it until I have to. It's purpose is simply to snare the enemy and leveling it doesn't increase its duration at all. Lucent Singularity I feel does the most damage without building AP, I also feel it's easier to hit with when trying to harrass, so I go ahead and max that first. Prismatic Barrier I only use to proc sheen/trinity, And Finales Funkeln is just for that last hit when they try to run.

I adore MS, which is why i go with boots of speed and buy two zeals early, right after sheen which goes well with her passive. I build Trinity Force as it's proc is much friendlier then Lich's Bane if you're not going down an AP path. Infinity edge is more a less a gamble item with me, hoping your attack that triggers your Illumination also crits, which I feel is reasonable given my marks and my zeal/trinity. It can easily be replaced with a Black Cleaver or another Bloodthirster, or whatever item suits your taste. Stinger=>Nashor's Tooth I get mainly for the CDR, and so can be replaced as well.

Lux's combo is fairly simple, and I'm sure everyone already knows it: Q, auto, E, auto, and so forth. I don't do anything tricky there, just remember to use her W to proc another effect from your sheen/trinity if the battle allows.
