Introduction

Hello and welcome to my Poppy guide!! This is my second guide so all suggestions, constructive criticism, and up-votes are much appreciated :) This is a Dominion guide, not a SR or TT guide. Meaning the The Bloodthirster should be replaced with a Sanguine Blade which in Dominion is basically the same thing. I will be adding content frequently, so enjoy the guide!

Skill Order

First
Obviously, prioritize your Ultimate = Diplomatic Immunity
Second
Maxing Devastating Blow first will maximize your damage, as you use Q a lot when attacking.
Third
After maxing your Q, Paragon of Demacia is critical. As you'll be building a Trinity Force followed by a Phantom Dancer you won't have a lot of early game damage per say. However, maxing your W, that will give you the extra attack speed and sustainability that you need.
Finally
Max your E, Heroic Charge, if you were doing an AP build you would max this first, but alas, this is an AD build, therefore you only need one point for the stun.

Diplomatic Immunity > Devastating Blow > Paragon of Demacia > Heroic Charge

Items

ITEMS:
In Dominion, you start with quite a bit more money than in Summoner's Rift and Twisted Treeline, so you have to match your starting item/items accordingly.

Starting Item:

Early game you're a little mana deprived, this will not only help you last longer, but it gives you a small amount of AP, and most importantly, after using an ability, for the next 10 seconds, your next physical attack deals 100% extra base damage!! Meaning, use any of your attack's on the enemy, and your next basic attack will deal extra damage equal to your base damage! Defiantly a perfect starting item for Poppy

BOOT OPTIONS:

Some people would prefer Mercury's Treads for extra defense, but you're not a tank, and you already have the effects from Paragon or Demacia and Diplomatic Immunity, so you don't need extra magic resist. AD Poppy gets her damage from Q, and R. After she blows those, what's she left with? Auto attacks, and if you only hit one attack a second.. Well, your not doing very much damage. These are the only boots viable for AD Poppy

ITEMS:

Trinity force give Poppy literally everything she needs. Attack damage,
attack speed, critical strike chance, health, mana, and movement speed. Plus you get Sheen's effect, plust 50% more! Sure, you get a little AP, which won't help out your Q, or E all that much, but hey, take what little more damage you can get. Trinity force in my opinion is one of the best items for AD Poppy


After you get your Trinity Force You'll want a little life steal, as most other AD carries will have it already. However, don't finish this into a Sanguine Blade just yet, that comes later, as you have all the life steal you need at this point. 10% from Vampiric Scepter and 3% from your Masteries.


Most people would want to buy their Infinity Edge at this point, but not yet! It may seem like you'd need extra damage, but with your Paragon of Demacia giving you 45 damage already, its like you have a B.F. sword already. That being said, attack speed and critical strike, along with the very helpful movement speed, Phantom Dancer is the best next item.


Oh you thought infinity edge was next? [color=#ff0000]WRONG![/color] You have enough critical strike at this point in the game that more efficient life steal is a bigger priority. [[Sanguine blade gives 60 damage plus 5 more attack damage per hit. Infinity Edge gives 80 attack damage, meaning, in just four hits, you have equal attack damage to an Infinity Edge plus your attack can still go higher! (bet your glad you went with life steal now huh)


FINALLY! The item you've been waiting to buy all game! Now that you have your attack speed, your life steal, and some critical strike, its time to put this build over the top! After this, you'll be at 70% critical strike!! (Not including Masteries and Runes)


If the game last this long you should have 50 kills, 3 deaths, and 27 assists... But now you want to kill people faster because they bought some armor... Here's the solution that will take care of that nasty tank. The Last Whisper!! More attack damage, plus 40% armor penetration.. OMG!!

GO FOR THE CARRY/SQUISHY RIGHT AWAY!!!
YOU CAN TAKE ON ALMOST ANY AD CARRY 1V1 WITH Diplomatic Immunity
TRY TO ISOLATE ONE PERSON AWAY FROM THE TEAM FIGHT WITH Heroic Charge

SUMMONER SPELLS

USEFUL SUMMONER SPELLS

Use Exhaust in conjunction with Diplomatic Immunity
(If in a 2v1 situation, use your Ultimate on one, and Exhaust on another, while taking out the easiest/closest target) -- I hardly ever see people do this with Poppy... sad really.


Your already fast, with this you'll run at a million miles an hour and no one will be able to run from you, or chase you down.

cleans I rarely ever use this because Exhaust and Ghost are so good.. But, its helpful if there's a lot of CC.

USELESS SUMMONER SPELLS THAT 'SEEM' GOOD


They changed the range on flash to 400 from 450 and as Poppy being able to chase for a long period of time rather than get close to the enemy for a second is much more useful.

This isn't going to help you much... Plus, you have life steal =/

Just... no

You don't need the extra attack speed, you get that from your first three items, it would just be a wasted summoner spell that you could have used on something more useful.
