Be very careful of Draven. His superior laning phase and mid game damage far surpasses yours. You cannot win trades unless you land a stun on him. Try to farm in this lane, and put bombs on where his axes are going to land. Draven an very easily catch you after you are revived from ult.

Introduction

Hi, my name is Aqüa, and I am Platinum 3 atm. AD Zilean has been one of my favourite non-meta champion which I enjoy, and I would like to share with you guys the joy of this unexpected time lord.

Why should you play Zilean?

I find AD Zilean to be extremely strong. Late game, he is a monster, and can outduel many ADCs including Caitlyn and Ashe

0-15 minutes:
FARM!
His early game isn't the best. Your auto attack does less than other ADC's. Your E can't be relied on as it is still very weak with only 1 point into it...and that's your only escape besides flash. Play safe, look to throw bombs to harass.
IF THE ENEMY IS HALF HEALTH OR BELOW (BOTH ADC AND SUPPORT) YOU HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO ALL IN!
This mainly depends on your support. Either wait for your support to engage the ADC or land a double bomb if they get too close. Remember to E first then double bomb, as it will greatly increase the chance of it hitting.

15-25 minutes:
At this point, you should have an IE and be working on shiv. Once those items are completed, your waveclear becomes unbeatable. One auto (if crit) + bomb can clear a whole wave instantly.
This is where Zilean starts shining. Your autos will do a lot of damage and you can participate in teamfights.

25 minutes +:
Once your PD is finished you are unstoppable. You can escape sticky situations with E, and catch enemies out with E. Your MS makes you very slippery and if you do mess up, R yourself.

TECHNIQUES

DRIVE BY:
E yourself, run up to the enemy while dodging skillshots (you should have around 700MS), and AA them once procing your shiv and crit (a good 500+ damage) before either W E to extend your MS buff timer or simply running away.

GIVE CANCER TO TANKS:
Tanks and bruisers will look to come close to you. Put an E on them into a double stun. After the stun duration ends top it off with another E.

BYE:
If you decide that you should be running away from their team, but a tank is right beside you, first put E on yourself. Immediately double bomb yourself to stun any chasers within the range and your E cooldown is reset. Use this final E to escape
