Introduction

Hello, i am StarZy or ADC is Dumb and this will be my Varus guide! A Little bit about me, i am currently Gold 3 and climbing. Here are some of my ranked matches as Varus!

I have been playing LoL since mid season 1 and have been maining ADC since mid season 3! And Varus has been one of my favorites! So i hope you enjoy the guide - StarZy

Runes

Runes are very simple for all ADCs but i like to experiment and i have found these runes to work the best!

For Marks, Greater Mark of Attack Damage is the best option for early damage and last hitting.
With the recent changes to armor runes, I like to run 5 health seals and 4 armor seals. I feel this is the best combo for seals.
Again, with recent changes to magic resist runes. I feel adding 3 attack damage glyphs in there, adds more early game damage for better last hitting and trading potential to other ADCs.

Masteries

Masteries are pretty simple as i just run 21/9/0 just like any standard ADC. But some notable mentions are using . You can choose this, like me, and gain some lane pressure in duels or put it into and gain some survivability in long fights.

Items

Like it says up at the top of the guide. The main items that you will want to build every time is ,, and for boots.

These items give most of your damage output as well as high sustain when you get your Blighted Quiver Stacks up.

Then you would like to choose one of these two: Phantom Dancer or Statikk Shiv. I always prefer Phantom Dancer But it is personal preference.

Then getting Guardian Angel, Banshee's Veil or Mercurial Scimitar for your defensive item. Then whenever you can, sell boots and get Zephyr to round off your build. Again, i prefer Guardian Angel Due to the lack of mobility but again, personal preference.
